Low quality materials :(
Sadly, this was very low quality. The first zipper broke in a few months. I was sent a replacement (and newer version) that was even thinner than the older version. I had to duct tape the pockets so things don't fall out. I'm just very disappointed. I don't spend a lot of money on myself and treated myself to a wool hoodie. Unfortunately, this brand doesn't seem to have high quality materials.
Unflattering fit but nice lightweight merino
Was so disappointed. I love other Icebreaker clothing for wonderful fit and materials, but this one is very unflattering. It has a rather boxy shape with a lot of extra material in the waist. The arms are also odd, becoming really baggy after the elbows. The chest pocket is a nice feature but ill-conceived - it has a fold-over wool concealer that pulls open and looks strained. Honestly, it looks like a nice shape for a men's hoodie (I did confirm that I received the women's style.) Will return :(
Top quality hoodie!

Love that jacket

Not as nice as the older version
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a much beloved and well worn Quantum hoodie that I've had for years and was looking to replace because the sleeves and cuffs are pretty holey at this point. So I ordered the Quantum III. It was a big disappointment when it arrived. The cut is completely different in the shoulders, and the medium was super baggy on me and didn't fit in the shoulders. Also the reflective piping along the zipper is gone which I thought was a nice safety feature, and overall the fabric felt thinner and not as cozy.
Long Sleeve Zip Hoodie

It's expensive for sure, but after searching for anythinng remotely similar everything just came up lacking. So I bit the bullet and bought this. My first use was on a business trip, airplane was freezing but I was super comfy in my new hoodie, flight cancelled at connection point, no luggage, slept in my new hoodie-snug as a bug in a rug! I honestly wear this everyday. Spend the money, you won't be disappointed! 5'4 125lbs
Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is still a super garment, perfect weight for warmth inside in a cold house or on a brisk day on a Fall-Spring hike. I live in this from Oct to April. But the changes in the design from previous models disappointed me. I loved the little storage pocket in lower front while the new pocket at breast level is clunky. I loved the tiered lower level, long back that kept my backside warm, now gone. I still recommend due to quality and perfect weight for a styling hoodie.
Unflattering fit and colour
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have an older Quantum hoody, which fits me really well. But I found this new version unflattering - hard to say exactly why, but somehow it just didn't fit properly: a bit baggy at the back, a bit long at the front, and the zipper doesn't lie quite flat. I also expected the colour to be red (as in the online pictures), instead the colour is unflatteringly (ugly) dark-red. I got my usual size S (I'm 163 cm and 49 kg, chest 85 cm). I returned it.
IV - no more double zipper!
I have all of the hoodies from I to III. Was excited to see the new IV style. Very disappointed the double zipper was removed as a feature! This was why I loved these hoodies, the double zipper was very flattering and gave the hoodie a tailored look at the bottom hem. Now it's just a boring straight flat style. Won't be purchasing until double zipper returns. And the new zipper is mini sized, not easy to use. Def skip this IV version.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love my hoodies and I wear them everyday. They keep you warm as an outer layer in warmer weather, or under a shell or vest in cooler weather. They are great for travel: they don't stink after many days, pack up small and hand wash, then dry quickly. they are stylish too. I wear Women's XL. I'm 5'9" 165lbs. I wear head to toe Icebreaker: the only thing not Icebreaker is my jeans!
