My 13 year old used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13 year old used these for his first time snowboarding for a couple of days. He is rough on everything (as most 13 yr old boys are) and really put them through the paces with a lot of falls. I give them 5 stars for comfort and warmth (temperatures were in the 20s). Waterproof score was around a 2.5, as they got pretty wet on the inside, but did manage to maintain their warmth even when wet. My two daughters wore their new Ote mittens and they were perfect and stayed dry.
The most durable, warm gloves!
This is my son’s second pair of Reimatec- Tartu. They are the absolute best. The last pair lasted him two years of daily use in Montana, including skiing. He’s outgrown the old pair but they are still holding up to my surprise. The sizes run very small. My son is an average size nearly 8 year old and the size 4-6 year old gloves fit him perfectly. When he was 5 he wrote the 2-4 year old size. I’m very pleased with these gloves. I just wish they made them in adult sizes!
Sturdy and warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gloves seem really study and my kid says they feel cozy. The only problem is they’re too big for him this year… I used the hand measurement guide and he has very long fingers for a 5 year old and seemed to match with the 6-8 size. But the space from the base of his thumb to his pointer finger knuckle is too short for the glove to fit right. So even if your kid seems to have big hands and is at the higher end of the age range, I recommend buying their real-age size.
We love them!
So far, so good! I originally ordered the 6-8 for my 8 year old, based on measuring per the size chart, but either I did it wrong or they run large. Easily exchanged them for the 4-6 and they fit great! He said they were warm and comfy while making some snowballs! These will be great for him at forest school!
Very warm and water proof.
Very warm and water proof. Have been great for skiing. Would have been 4 stars except the cuff needs to come up the arm further; they’re a bit short. I know there are longer gloves, but not available in a color other than black and my 4yo likes their rainbow colors!
Great colors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these for my son in the orange-ish color. It’s a great color. I got him the large size - he’s an average size 12yr old - they fit great. I tried them on and they almost fit me - may need to get myself a pair. Very soft inside. Very happy with purchase.
Warm and easy to find the fingers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4yo has no problem getting g these in independently which is huge. This is his first pair of gloves- he has always had mittens which I actually prefer but he requested gloves so we gave them a try. No complaints of wet or cold hands yet.
Just get them!
So warm and cozy and they fit so nicely. I was worried it would be hard to get on my 2 year old but he’s able to get his thumb right into the right space! Now if he would only keep them on for longer than 30 minutes…
Happy Purchase
gloves seem to run a bit smaller than mittens. My kid wears them for ski team 2 days a week and has been loving them. I did buy him an expensive brand as well and he prefers the Reima? for what it is worth.
My daughter is going to
My daughter is going to love these. They have a longer cuff than some of the other gloves we've gotten for her. I'm hoping these will keep her hands nice and toasty this winter.
