The jacket is great! I would have loved more pockets inside the jacket and like others have mentioned if you wipe it against something it can get dirty and noticeable fast but that not a big deal. I personally would have loved the hoody to be more longer to cover your head it feels a fit to short. Other then that I love this jacket! I have taken to with me in very cold spaces and it has keep me really warm ! its not water resistant but it can provide support for a while if you're stuck in rain. Also as a thick girl I love this jacked it has space and now that I am pregnant it has also been a great support.
I wonder if I got a dud because the jacket does not feel as warm to me as others describe and it doesn't feel like there is a ton of down in it. I would wear this on a crisp fall day but not an under 40 day without adding tons of layers. That said, it is a beautiful stylish jacket so I plan to keep it. It is maybe an inch or two shorter than I'd like. I'm 5'5'' and 138 lbs and the medium fits well with room for layers underneath. It hits the very top of my hip; if I reach my hands up, it would probably show a bit of lower back and stomach.
This jacket is very VERY warm! Love the cinch-cord that’s inside near the waistline - it helps keep out the draft. I’m 5’0” and 108lbs., got the Size S. I’m really happy with the fit - maybe since I have short arms the excess sleeve-length is a tad more than someone who may be taller than me. I was looking for something that would be waist-length than a longer silhouette parka, and this so is it! Really happy with the Tidepool Blue color too.
I live in a densely populated city with medium to mild wet winters. This was Year One of using this coat which replaced an Eddie Bauer waterproof down parka. This one is built lighter, but lacks the waterproofing that would be needed to give it 5 stars. Where are the waterproof down parkas for those of us who don’t want to buy two separate jackets for a wet winter? I will say that I wore this in a sleet-changing-to-rain storm and it kept me warm, got pretty soaked, but then dried quickly after being brought back indoors. I do appreciate the recycled materials and the lovely color.
It's a great well-made jacket, very warm, but definitely runs small. My daughter size small, but kept this jacket in size large with room for a sweater. The green color is little darker then in the picture, but still beautiful.
I’m really dissapointed :( the color of the blue coat is not the pretty green/blue/teal color but rather a VERY dark navy. I read some reviews to size up, but it just made the coat even more boxy. It just looks like a little boys coat. Unfortunately will be returning :(
super comfortable, love it! size up if your layering.
Beautiful orange color. Beautiful jacket. Well made. Fit is perfect for me.It will definitely keep me warm this winter.
I won, the planet wins, the workers won. Super warm, environmentally & socially responsible. I'm glad every single day I splurged on this. It's already been in single digit temps and I've been nice & toasty. Highly recommended!!!
I tried the full length parka and liked the fit, but was wanting it shorter for easier movement out and about. It fits looser, which is nice for layering. I tried this on, confident that the same size would work. It did not work. It was so narrow, it was hard to zip with a sweater on. Probably need to exchange for a size up, but I am worried the sleeves will be too long.
