KUHL  Spyfire Down Jacket - Women's

This is a great jacket. It has a nice snug, but not tight fit, and you can wear it under a raincoat, etc. It's nice and war, and It's also very good looking. The fabric is also tougher than many down jackets with nylon outer fabric. I really like it a lot.

I love this jacket. Sleek looking and stylish l. Ordered the Kalimata color. Color on line of jacket is misleading. It really is more of a brown color with hardly any mahogany or red color. I was disappointed in that, but still love the jacket.

Love this jacket!! 5’6’’ and 140. Got a medium and it’s perfect. Love the long sleeves, high neckline, and it’s perfect for cold weather!! Would like a bigger selection of colors.

I bought my regular size, M, because I plan to wear this as a mid-layer for skiing under my ONE SHELL from Kuhl. The Spyfire jacket is close fitting, so I can't layer long, bulky sweaters underneath. But I can wear it by itself with thin sweaters. I like how it has a tailored fit and gives the appearance of a waist! It is also plenty warm. I wore it along with my ONE SHELL on a couple of sub-freezing, windy hikes, and I was comfortable.

Loved the color and design. Unfortunately the large was very tight around my torso. I am a large in everything I order or buy locally and I was wearing a single layer of Smart wool when I put it on. I returned it and did not order the extra large because I was afraid it would still not fit right. Very disappointed. I have purchased other Kuhl clothing and been very satisfied. I've had one pair of pants for almost 10 years. Sigh.

The absolutely best jacket! I keep buying over and over again! I wear under my ski jacket daily plus just a great jacket to run around town in! Light but warm! I generally treat it like a base layer for skiing especially this last week as we have had wind chills in the negative numbers and temps in the single digit! Staple in my winter arsenal!

I was very pleased to be able to order this jacket (had been out of stock), but I should have paid more attention to other comments on the Kuhl website about the odd and tight fit around the armpits, shoulders and upper arms. Wow. I returned the jacket to REI.

Nice puffy jacket. Just purchased recently and I’ve not had a chance to test this out much. But of the many brands I tried on this one was the most flattering for a lightweight down sweater type layer.

Weight and warmth were everything I hoped for. I am an XL woman because of bust, so sleeves were a little long. I loved that the no-cuff sleeve made giving it a turn up was still attractive!

This jacket is beautiful and comfortable but the quality of the fabric is terrible. It ripped, I exchanged it and it ripped again. And then Kuhl won’t honor it. Luckily REI will.
