Vuori  Optimist Pants - Men's

I own several Vuori shirts and they all fit just as well as my tailored dress shirts. Their pants on the other hand have the weirdest fit. If the pants fit properly in the waist and seat then the legs are far too tight. If there's enough room in the thigh then the waist is too big and the seat hangs down to the point that I'm tempted to do the MC Hammer shuffle dance. If you have a large waist and spindly legs then these might just be the pants for you. For the rest of us, not so much. Weird fit aside, everything else is what you'd expect from Vuori which makes the weird fit so disappointing.

I love pretty much all Vuori products. The quality is outstanding, and they strike a great balance between comfort, function, and style. Great splurge items that are worth the extra buck. However, buying pants for me is always a struggle, so I wasn't sure if these would work. I've short tree trunk legs, a sizeable rear, and small waist. Everything is always too tight, or too loose. I end up wearing sweat pants all day (WFH), and changing into something presentable to leave the house. These are the magic pants I've been looking for. Let the elastic do its thing when you're hanging out, and then just tighten up the drawstring and tuck it in when you need to be presentable. They can be worn casually, or to the office. They've also got plenty of give, and are toasty warm. I'll likely be ordering a couple more pairs for the rest of the winter.

There are so soft like all Vuori stuff. They are a little thicker and less stretchy than the Ponto pants which I love. Vuori stuff is generally sized to be skinny/athletic fit so I have to get XL in Ponto pants where I'd normally get L on other brands. The Optimist are even skinner so XXL was the size for me. XL fit but the legs were too tight for me.

I bought these Vuori pants for my boyfriend and they are a perfect fit. They make his little butt look so much cutier! We love the brand for its super buttery feel & these cords don't disappoint. Really like to color too!

I have a pair of the Vuori Meta pants which I've worn countless times. I'm a big fan. And so was very excited when I saw these Optimist pants. I love the feel of corduroy, and these deliver. Unfortunately after only one day of wearing the pants, one of the drawstring holes tore. Would have preferred belt loops. Otherwise a nice pair of pants

A bit more expensive than I like to pay for pants, but man, I'm glad I did. These are the most comfortable pants I own, and they look great. I can't vouch for the longevity but I'm hopeful. They seem well built. Only wish they had more colors to choose from!

Love the idea don’t like the execution. I am 5’10”, with semi muscular legs. I bought a size large, waist was good but the legs were so tight. I so wanted them to fit better.

I have loved all Vuori brand garments I’ve purchased previously, and these corduroy pants do not disappoint! Very comfortable and fit well.

Optimist pants fit a little differently than the other Vuori pants. Corduroy made them a little stiffer. Returned them.
