Black Diamond  Stance Mittens

I really like these mittens. they are super warm for their weight. I have one small complaint though, and that is that the tags are attached to the very finely woven material on the cuffs. I may have bad luck but when removing the tags it left a small but noticable hole in the fabric. An actual hole and not just a space between the fibers. Now the threading is a little loose and the hole will most likely get bigger with use. Again, this isnt something major but it still feels a little crappy having a brand new product that isnt really mint.

Fingers get frostbite easily due to Thyroid challenges. Thus is a serious issue up here in the frozen north of Buffalo NY for over 6 months a year. Sadly, it most often happens driving when my hands grip the steering wheel. I've tried a number of solutions and all have failed. I tried Stance Mitts on a whim, even though I havent worn anything that looks like a mitten since 1965. And. . . they worked! No more frostbite on the drive home. This gave me back quality of life I thought was gone. Thanx Black Diamond!

I use these for snowboarding. The XL fits over my wrist guards and liner glovers. Literally the only mittens that do ( even my wrist guard's own branded mittens don't fit over them) These are incredibly warm. When wearing them I have the dexterity to adjust my bindings, more so than other boarding mittens. I stitched some elastic to them so i can hold them on my wrists so I won't lose them.

I brought these in a recent backcountry ski trip. Ended up not using them. I used the hybrid glove. That was perfect. But the stance packs down so small. And I get very cold, so I'm glad I brought them in case I needed that extra warmth! No pic, but I do recommend getting these for your backcountry quiver if gear. Fit is perfect. I got the size small. Giving them two stars as they are a really nice, lightweight and packable mitt - if they only they were better constructed. The seam along the top edge of one mitt split open after 3 weeks of light use dog-walking and before ever washing them. Waiting on a response from BD.

Love these mittens. Ive been using them for early am brisk walks with the dogs. Waiting for the winter season to start to really test the warmth. Love these! Ordered a size Large, but I do have larger hands for a girl and these are a little tight trying to slip them on...

I love my new Stance mittens. For the first time in many years, my hands are not freezing whenever I go out in winter. And I love that they are not bulky and even came with a case for keeping them together and packing them into a small space. Worth every cent!

Great for cold days when the liners aren’t cutting it! Hiked Quandry Peak (CO 14ner) in February and they kept me warm. Storage bag is super cool, also can be stuffed into pockets with ease. Go with the larger size if you are on the fence about sizing.

I have a bunch of Black Diamo d products and am an XL in everything I have. These mittens (also XL) barely fit over my hands. I had to give them away to someone else. Definitely size up at least one size (maybe two).

These gloves changed my life. As an active climber and runner with Raynauds, it's difficult keeping my hands warm and these work perfectly in that 10-30 degree sweet spot. Thank you!
