Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".

PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.

TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.

Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.

Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great coat, down everywhere
Covered in Down
This parka was very affordable and comfortable. I also liked that it was packable into the pocket. The pockets themselves are great as well. The main thing I didn’t like was every time I moved I lost down. Rental car - full of down. Clothes - full of down. Feathers kept coming out and sticking to everything and floating everywhere. Definitely plan on exchanging for another typ of coat that doesn’t have down.

I’m covered in feathers whenever I wear this

I’ve worn this parka for about a week, and I am really disappointed, as it is otherwise perfect save for the *constant* shedding. The fit and pockets are great, and it is super soft, as many other reviewers say. However, I was surprised to find that only one other person commented on the “incessant shedding” of the parka’s feathers. Tiny feathers are stuck ALL over my clothes when I remove the coat. A lint roller is only somewhat helpful, as the friction created as my clothes rubs the coat causes the feathers to get slightly embedded in my clothing, forcing me to pick them out by hand. I’m not sure what the issue is - down that is too fine or seams that are poorly sewn - but in order to keep wearing it, I will have to have a tailor put in a lining. Really disappointing.

Lightweight and comfortable down jacket

Nice, lightweight jacket. Fits well. Pros: Dual deep pockets on front. One zip one open and large enough for hands with gloves/mittens Lightweight and packable; packs into one of the zippered outer pockets Two way front zipper Length good; to knees and longer in back Good fit even with hood up; arms long enough. A bit snug around hips. Two very large storage pockets interior Can cinch under bust from inside jacket Love the color Snug but not tight cuffs Cons: No way to tighten hood

Great coat!

Living in Minnesota, I am picky about my coats and I have several for different winter needs. This coat fits nicely into my collection. It has 4 huge pockets - 2 zippered and 2 non zippered. They are plenty large to fit an iPhone or mittens. Even though the hood does not have a drawstring, it is snug enough around the head that it shouldn't blow off in high winds. The coat is long on me, but I am petite - hits just past the knees. I plan to wear this coat for errands around town and waiting for the bus during the winter.

low quality and REI won’t fix it when it breaks

The zipper of this product is horrible. It stopped working (it did last a bit over 2 years). We took it back to REI to see if they can fix the zipper and they refused to fix it. In contrast, we bought our son a Northface jacket that had a problem with the zipper and northface took if and fixed it for us. I am disappointed in REI products because if when they break you have to throw them away, they are not sustainable products!

Kept me toasty warm at the campground this summer

This parka kept me nice and warm while camping this summer without adding bulk. I was up in the mountains in the Pacific Northwest where it gets cold at night. This jacket and a thin base layer was all I needed to be comfortable and warm at the campsite and on morning hikes. I am looking forward to using this on my daily morning dog walks this fall - it will be perfect. It does run a little large, but that didn't bother me too much.

Soft, comfortable, and warm - awesome jacket!

I love love love this jacket! It is so comfortable, soft and light but also warm. The length is great. It is very functional with very deep outer pockets and a large inner pocket as well. It folds up very nicely even though it's a large jacket so it's very versatile and packable. I haven't worn this in incredibly chilly weather, but it seems to be a great jacket for everyday wear (maybe just not in a snowstorm!) Would definitely recommend!

Not up to usual REI standards

Is it warm? Yes. Is it packable? Absolutely. What gets this jacket 3 stars is the incessant shedding. I have the shorter version of this jacket and have NEVER had this problem with it. Other reviews warned of this problem, but I went through with the purchase anyway because I’ve never not loved an REI product. I may exchange it for another, but be prepared to pack around a lint roller in the pocket if you plan on wearing it anywhere but the woods.

Packable but zippers are terrible

This jacket has a comfortable fit and great length in the sleeves and the body. The material is very lightweight making it very packable which is awesome for a long jacket. The only problem is that the main zipper catches easily making it hard to open even without gloves on. I tried the zipper on multiple jackets and they all had the same problem. A sturdier zipper is likely a sacrifice of the pack ability, but it could get frustrating real fast if your trying to open the jacket.
