cool little tables

I have two of these in my living room as small end tables and really like them, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more if I needed another small table. All of my furniture is minimalist and low, and I sit on the floor a lot, so they're the perfect height. They seem to be well-constructed (they sort of feel like someone's woodshop project...simple and sturdy) and I appreciate that they can be easily moved around or stored if not needed. The wood is unfinished so I put some wood conditioner on the top surfaces, and so far I haven't had to worry about water (or coffee) stains. One thing to be aware of is that the top fits loosely onto four protruding pieces that insert into holes at each corner, but there's nothing else that keeps it secure. I wasn't really thinking about this the first time I picked up the table and got a surprise when the top popped off. Not a big deal, and it's possible to pick up the whole table by hanging onto the big rectangular holes on the sides, but thought I'd mention it in case it's an issue for anybody.

Small Footprint, Functional, and Portable

My living space is very small, and I got this to use as my computer desk (for my laptop). I love it because it is the exact height I need when sitting on my meditation cushion. The breakdown/build-with-no-tools construction is well done and makes for a stable platform to do my work.

Small

Smaller than I anticipated. But I used the pattern to make a bigger one. This table is now a chair,

Great idea, poor quality control

Unable to completely assemble the table due to the notches or holes for the table top not cut right. Had to file and sand it down to fit. It was so off I couldn’t hammer the table top down with my fist. Everything else fit fine.
