This jacket was exactly what I wanted. It's quite warm and has all the pockets I wanted: two hand-warming lower pockets on the outside, two outside chest pockets, a stash pocket on your sleeve, a zippered interior pocket for your wall, and a large goggle pouch inside. The hood is insulated as well and is big enough to get over a helmet, but it can also be cinched down if needed. The jacket is a bit baggy, so you can definitely layer underneath it. I got a medium and it's on the large size for me (6'0, 165 lbs). The cuffs are large, which is great, as I can easily pull them over my ski gloves.
