Not at all waterproof

These very expensive socks kept my feet dry for less than 8 minutes in a tropical thunderstorm. By minute 8, my feet were soaked. During a previous 5k walk when it did not rain, my feet developed hot spots where blisters were starting under my toes.

Socks are a bit too big, despite being correct on the size chart.
