My little hiking companion
This is a really cool gadget for small hikes. I have not done a single hike without this since I bought it. I wish the carry pocket were a bit bigger to accommodate my iPhone, wallet, and house keys. Water bottle is just right for 3-5 mile hikes.

Maximum 32” waist
The maximum waist adjustment is 32”. The online waist size is “unavailable” but a reasonable person would assume a larger waist size than 32” from the description of “fully adjustable” I’m very unhappy that I have to pay the $9 return fee. No more size sensitive REI purchases for me.

Adjustable strap is terrible. Bottle leaks

Purchased this for light hiking on the trail. The adjustable strap is too short and the bottle leaks. Terrible product. Do not buy.

The "adjustable" belt is horrible

The rest of it is OK but the belt design is horrible! Very nearly UNadjustable. This makes it a no buy. Sorry I spent $40 on it. Don't make the samemistake

Looks cool, but belt sucks

This “adjustable” belt is a dang lie because the material is so stiff. I’ve never owned anything that was this difficult to adjust. There are better products out there that are cheaper.

Good small pack, for when you don't want your vest

This is a good 13.1 or 25k running pack when you don't want or need to break out the larger (and hotter) running hydration vest. For me it fits my phone (iphone mini), a bar, a gel, a pack of shotblocks, and a small plastic bag or two in case the dog has to leave a desposit. The bottle is a nice size for a longer training run, or in between rest stops during an race/event. I disagree with some of the reviewers on the cinching clasps being complicated; this is one of the few waist packs I've used that absolutely does not loosen during runs, and so I appreciate the extra grip of the serpentine cinching system at the buckles, which I basically set and leave. My one area I wish were a tiny bit better is that I found if I just squirt fluid out of the bottle, the nozzle drips where the rubber meets the hard plastic and so I have to help out the value with a little bit of suction when I sip - a minor inconvenience. Overall however this pack is great and I recommend it.

Just the Right Size for Walks

Water bottle is the right size for walks, is easy to access, and is held securely in place. Pocket could be bigger, but is adequate to hold small items like ID and keys.

Terrible

The bottle is designed to tilt in the carrier. It leaks and uncomfortable to carry with the bottle not being held securely. I just threw mine in the trash. Looking for something better.

Very short lifespan, difficult to adjust

Worked well for a few runs, but eventually the plastic on the bottle started to morph and the lid wouldn’t screw on correctly, rendering it unfunctional. Besides the bottle leaking, the pack itself is very hard to adjust. Overall, save yourself the money and don’t buy this.
