Great treats for the pups!

Received free product

My dogs loved these treats. I was pleasantly surprised that there did not seem to be any inflammation or tummy aches or change to their poo, which can happen after some treats. The pups indicate that the treats were tasty and easy on the tummy!

Dog approved!

Received free product

Our dog loved these treats! No complaints from her. I like that they are easily broken in half or into smaller pieces. Good ingredients. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, and the only suggestion I have is to make it more clear on the packaging that they are made in the USA (if they are). I only buy dog food/treats made in the US, so I like to be able to quickly and easily find this information on the bag. It took me several in depth searches to find the print in a circle saying they were baked in North America, which actually doesn’t tell me they were made in the US. I would not have bought these if looking for a bag of treats at the store because I didn’t find an American flag or “Made in the US” statement!

Ingredients I can pronounce!

Received free product

I love these cute little heart shaped treats and my dog did too! I love that the ingredients are all foods that you could buy at a grocery store; real food, not chemicals or additives. And though my old girl can’t verbalize just how much she likes them, she scarfed them down as fast as she could. Win-Win for GivePet treats!!

My Dog Couldn't Get Enough of These Treats!

Received free product

I often "puppysit" my daughter's dog, Atlas, and once he tried one of these GivePet treats, he wouldn't stop begging for more! First I used them as rewards in his puzzle game where he has to find the hidden treats. Then I used them in his training routine -- wow, did he quickly follow commands to get one of these. Atlas, and I, highly recommend this product.

Healthy Snack, Easy to Pack

Received free product

My dogs LOVE this "Breakfast All Day" dog treat. It's a small heart-shaped treat so no need to break into smaller pieces. Crunchy, just the way my dogs love their snacks. Light so easy to pack if hitting the trails and walking dogs. Healthy ingredients, grain free, no artificial colors or artificial preservatives, no added sugar or salt. Made with veggies.

Great nutritious dog treat

Received free product

This is a review of GivePet bison, baked potato and carrot flavored Baked Dog Treats, which GivePet and REI gave us free for testing. First, a reading of the ingredients show that these treats are very healthy, as they are a combination of several vegetables combined with bison meat. Our dog will eat just about anything, but he will not eat vegetables. He is 15% overweight according to our vet and needs to lose about 5 pounds from his current weight of 31 pounds. Unfortunately, due to the limited period we had for testing, we can’t say whether these treats, would help reduce his weight. But we have been looking for healthy treats to replace the human food my son and I have been giving him as treats. With dog treats, we generally break them up into smaller pieces--a suggestion from a dog trainer who recommends food rewards as the best way to reinforce good behaviors. Our dog loves to hike on trails, except for our normal daily 2 mile walk. He seems to be bored with it and needs reinforcement to start the first half mile or so. The main criteria we used for this review was whether our dog liked the treats at all, and whether they effectively motivated him to stop resisting the first part of our daily walks. Our dog loved the Treats. When he saw that he was going to get one, he immediately sat down, which we tell him to do when giving treats. He chewed the treats instead of just swallowing them, as he does with others. He liked them very much on his daily walk, and the GivePet treats motivated him to follow us on his walk. In summary, our dog loved the treats, and they did motivate him to walk without resisting on his daily walks. Our dog loved to chew the treat which he seemed to enjoy more than the treat pieces he usually just swallows whole. The only negative factor for these Treats is that they are crumbly. I found that when putting the treats in a few pieces in my pocket on my walks with our dog, my pocket ended up with treat dust. Similarly, when I used a knife to cut the treats into smaller pieces, they broke a small amount of each cut treat into dust and very small particles, as well as the smaller piece I wanted. The manufacturer says that for every bag of treats purchased, they donate enough treats for 10 shelter dogs.

My dog won’t leave me alone

Received free product

These treats were extremely well received by this 80 lb. girl. On the trail, around the house and everywhere in between, she enjoyed these treats very much. No stress on her GI tract or issues at all, and she wouldn’t leave me alone if she thought there was a chance she could get more. All in all, a great product!

Dog Loves These Treats

Received free product

We have a 12-year-old, mixed breed that is very active. He goes for walk or runs alongside my wife while she rides her bike. Even with all his activity, we still watch how many treats we give him to keep his weight in check. When we gave him his first GivePet treat, he devoured it. Not surprisingly, most dogs will do this. I started setting up side-by-side tests to see if he like these better than the name brand treats he usually gets. He picked the GivePet everytime. I started breaking up the GivePet treats to make them smaller than the treats he usually gets. Even when the GivePet treats was much smaller than his standard treat, he picked the GivePet. Very convinced he prefers the GivePet treats. I also like the sturdy, resealable packaging. We will definitely be buying these in the future.

Good treats for good pups

On behalf of my dogs. They do love these very much. You get a good amount of treats and they break easy to divide up amongst your wolves.
