Amazing Mitt for the money

These mitts are plenty warm for most winter temps. The lining is silky comfortable and the split lining adds to the warmth. They have good dexterity for a mitt and super durability. Keep 'em waxed and they stay dry. I volunteer for mountain rescue on Mt Hood and I suffer from Reynaud's, which limits circulation in my fingers. So I know all about cold hands, and this is my go-to work mitt.

Nowhere in the description of these mittens does it say the liner is really a fingered glove. What I wanted was a true mitten. Whether the warmth of these "mittens" is compromised we won't know until the weather here gets really cold. Also, there was supposed to be a tube of waterproofing included with the purchase, but they left it out. So far, pretty disappointed with rei.com.

Too Bulky & Not Warm

Took these skiing for the first time this weekend and was very disappointed. The Good: It came with an at-home waterproofing wax that easily covered the entire surface of the gloves very thoroughly. And the wax worked. My gloves stayed dry. The bad: They were HUGE. My palm circumference is around 7.5 inches, which falls in the M range. The palm fit...okay, but the main problem was my fingers: there was probably an extra 2 inches at the top of my gloves. I couldn't even get them in my ski poles because they are so bulky. They also weren't very warm. I kept having to pull my fingers into a fist in my palm for warmth.

The handwear keeps my hands comfortable and pretty warm. I’m very happy with them and bought a pair for my son too. They are a good quality and was impressed that they included a leather cream with the mittens to aid in their water resistance.

Love these so far!

Got these in the mail today. Loved that it came with the wax sample. These mitts seem like they can last a VERY long time as long as the inside stays up. Very high quality!

We need these to work, why are you upping the $$?

These were 32$ a pair 2 years ago. C’mon, Yall should offer a bundle of 3 pair for that price for anyone with a resort ID.
