Smartwool  Performance Hike Light Cushion Low Ankle Socks - Women's

These run VERY large! They are so big they're unwearable and getting returned. Check out the photo comparing them to my older Smartwool socks of the same style/size and you can see how much larger the new ones are. And that's after stretching out my old ones with years of wear. Shoe size W9 Narrow, and purchased my usual women's Medium. Size down!

I LOVE these socks and have bought multiple colors over the years to wear hiking, running, snow sports, and casual wear use. The wool material keeps my feet from getting blisters after hiking, warm, breathable, comfortable and I wear them nearly all year around. For all types of low and high impact exercise, these are my go-to socks, and remain durable after several years of regular use. Highly recommend (and makes an excellent gift!)

Fantastic sock, not my first purchase of smart wool socks, but first time I’ve bought directly from the site. Definitely worth the money, I’ve had a few pairs for 8+ years and they remain favorites! Love the color options also. I hike occasionally, but use these for work days even, I’m an RN in a hospital setting and these help keep my feet comfy and dry!

Comfy and I can't feel the pebbles that sometimes get kicked into my shoe. But I can't say they warrant the price. Nothing really spectacular to write home about.

Returned. A size larger than my 6.5 feet and just preference but a bit too puffy. Seemingly nice quality. Re: packaging, I understand elastic bands from a marketing perspective but socks stay on cardboard hook already, so ultimately just more landfill items.

I wear these socks all the time since discovering them years ago. They are the best in every way! I especially love the low profile without slippage. The thickness is great, yet they're never too hot. I wear them all year and I live in the South. They are not too heavy even in the summer with the heat and humidity. The weight is perfect! The design is unique and the colors are fantastic. These are my favorite socks and have been for years! Give them a try! You will be happy you did.
