LOVE my Sawtooths - I live in them!
This is my 3rd pair of these shoes in 2 years....not because they wear out, but because these are my go-to shoes for working on my feet most of the day, walking in the city, hiking on trails in the park and doing weights and cross-training at the gym. LOVE LOVE LOVE my Oboz! I have narrowish feet with a wider forefoot, moderate arch that requires orthotics and a super narrow heel that is prone to Achilles tendonitis. Don't even need to turn to orthotics with these...the support is amazing. When these go on sale, I grab a new pair at least once a year.

Not what they used to be
The last two pair of Oboz's I've purchased seem to have dipped in quality. My most recent pair are not as comfortable and I don't like having them on my feet. Previous to this, ALL my Oboz's were great, and could wear all day long. Not these. It's unlikely I'll buy Oboz again.

Not the best for me

Oboz legendary arch support felt off on my foot...hit in the wrong spot. Wanted to love these and took them for easy 4.5 mile hike/walk. Half way I developed a sore spot from rubbing at my ankle bone and and had an achy foot before the trail end. Feet felt very elevated for a low hiker shoe leaving me feeling a bit unstable on uneven ground. Though Oboz supposedly runs true to size, I found them on the shorter side so went with a half size larger. Just too big and clunky and not a good fit for me. Only wore them on one trial hike. May try them on another short day hike but Oboz, I’m not sure we are a good match.

Non-waterproof Sawtooth is far more comfy!

I much preferred the comfort of the non-waterproof version of this shoe (the Sawtooth II C). These felt shorter than all the other shoes I tried, and they were also more hard and tight in the toe area.

In love with my Oboz!!

My friend convinced me to try my first pair of Obozs a year ago. This last pair is my 3rd pair, the other 2 have over 500 miles each on them. I anticipate the new ones will wear as well. I am already checking colors for the next pair.

Toe cram

This model tends to run smaller. I tried out the current mode year sawtooth II at a store and ordered the same size pair that is on sale and from the previous year. This older version is so different from the 2020-2021 model! My right toe is crammed and hurt. I don’t know whether a half size up would solve the problem because the cram is due to insufficient thickness clearance. Other than that, the construction looks very solid. The shoes did keep my feet dry when I hiked through a field of melted snow.

Comfort and support

This is my third pair of OBOZ. I have had several broken bones in both feet in these shoes provide both sufficient support and comfort.Support and comfort. FYI, I normally wear a size 10 but in this brand I have to wear a 10 1/2

Love this shoe!

Love these shoes. this is my 3rd and 4th pairs. Use them for hiking, heavy duty gardening. Good support, but not too heavy and fairly breathable.

Great short hiking shoe!

Great short hiking shoe! These shoes fit like a glove and offer great arch support. I tried on 3 brands of low hikers in the store and these were the winners. The shoes hit my foot in all the right places without any pinches or rubbing. The soles are a little stiffer than other models I tried but I’ve found that offers great mid foot support. I’ve worn them on a few short hikes without any problems or blisters. I look forward to many adventures in these shoes!

Love these!

I'm use to wearing another high-quality brand of hiking shoes- but it always took a while for them to get kicked-in and feel good. These felt great right out of the box- I even forgot that I was wearing new shoes. They're cute, comfortable, and well worth the price.
