[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this backpack and the organizational compartments it has too. The pack looks deceptively small, and has a lower profile but it holds alot. I find it to be a comfortable pack. It has both a waist strap and a chest strap. The waist strap is not that wide, but it doesn't irritate me. Items inside don't tend to shift around alot- in part because of the elastic cords and adjustable bottom straps. I have taken it many places already. It was a handy carry on size too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently a freshman in college and I am in love with this backpack. I can put all of my books and laptop in this backpack and it's still very roomy. Not only that this backpack has a super cute design and is extremely comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this bag for my daughter of collage. Backpack comes with some padding for laptop/tablet. It does take away a bit from inner storage space. Seems a bit large than it should be. Inner is a decent size but if you have clothes that need to go in it does seem to be over packed. Only concern we had was that the left strap broke after less than 2 uses. This is a one off situation since I've been using NF backpack for some time and this was the first time ripping. My other concern was that when it came for color. During return there was no other store that has NF products or the actual NF had them available. Bummer cause my daughter really liked the color and feel. We were able to replace it but not the color she had wanted but settled for one that was in store.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking backpack but it RIPPED and is no longer useable because things can fall out. Warranty claim requires that you pay to mail it in and wait weeks for a review. TNF does not accept photos. This is not practical if you're using it as an everyday school backpack. What are you supposed to use to carry your things in the interim while you're waiting for TNF to decide if your item will be fixed or replaced?? Not too many people have backup backpacks! Ultimately, not worth the price because it didn't last.
The Borealis backpack is both stylish and practical. The blue color is gorgeous in person, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It feels tough enough to handle everyday wear and tear but still looks sleek. I use it mainly for college, and it holds everything I need without being overwhelming. The zippers are smooth, the compartments are thoughtfully designed, and the water bottle pockets are surprisingly roomy. For me, it strikes a perfect balance between function and style. The only thing I'd mention is that it feels a little bulky when it's not filled up, but otherwise it's extremely versatile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I intended to buy this backpack for work and travel. Unfortunately the laptop compartment is too small and won't fit an engineering laptop. Other than that, it is good quality and comfortable to wear but not very useful if you want to carry your engineering laptop.
Used 1.5 semesters before strap broke presumably from carrying on 1 shoulder from time to time--as anyone would. Shocking since it barely fits anything.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In one area, see pictures, not sure how stitch comes off so easily, is this part of design?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this borealis bag for pretty much everything but mainly for school. I would recommend this bag for pretty much anything. This bag is mainly great for school because it is big and spacious. I first got a jester and used that for a while and then ended up with a borealis. This bag is so comfortable and the cup holders even hold my 32 ounce water bottle. I recommend this backpack especially for school because it fits so much it fit 5 binders in and a computer and a notebook. I also recommend this backpack for people who are organized. This bag has helped me with finding things easier with the second compartment. If I could I would buy this backpack again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's durable and looks nice, but it doesn't zip all the way when I store my 15" laptop in the laptop compartment. Then when I fill the accessory compartment, and put my glasses in the hidden front pocket, it makes the top portion of the pack too "fat". This top part constricts the whole pack, so I can't fill the next compartment. Overall the pack feels too tight. I'm a little underwhelmed.
