Nice jacket!
I found this jacket to be true to size (I am 5'6", 125lbs, athletic build and ordered a Small) and a perfect warmth for cold weather activity. It is shorter in the front then the back, which is okay for a functional fit with a climbing harness, but maybe not a stylish fit or for sports where you want the front to be longer to prevent a draft (skiing, backpack). I like the stretch fabric for movement, though it is prone to snagging a bit, and the yellow color is going to get dirty fast. The sleeves are long, which I like for climbing, and the hood easily fits over a helmet. I really wish it had a dual zipper for better harness access.
Perfect except for a couple of small things
The hoody is a heavy duty fabric, not as stretchy but more windproof than is typical fleece. The wool is not apparent, but it's only 5%. I have worn it a lot but not washed it yet. Fingers crossed it won't pill. It fits well: medium on my somewhat busty 5'4" 130 lb. The hood is a bit loose around my face and there are no thumb loops or holes, even though the description includes them. I like that the sleeves are tight enough that I can push them up and they stay in place on my skinny forearms when I wash my hands, etc. Much better than most - can be really annoying with these longer sleeves. The orange colour is like salmon. Maybe it should be called "lox"!
Highly versatile, light and beloved jacket
The Factor Hoody works perfectly in a big range of conditions so I’m constantly wearing it. I’m 5’9” and 145-150lb and in 2021 I bought size small (my usual size is medium). In the Wasatch it’s my go to layer for skinning with a synthetic t-shirt base underneath (note: I run cold). On colder days it is an essential part of my layering system. It breathes really well. The waffle fleece keeps it light AND warm. I also love the pockets. They are so handy and perfectly placed, including the little chest pocket. The jacket is an awesome length in waist and arms. I find a lot of women’s athletic gear is a bit short. I love it so much, and it fits so well, that I also use it as a daily driver around town :) For all these reasons, it’s probably one of my top 3 pieces of outdoor clothing.
Cozy
Wow, I love this hoody! It feels cozy and fleecy without being bulky. I ordered my usual size (S) and it fits a little large, but that makes it great for layering. It’s also kind of long. I’m 5’2 and the length looks nice and isn’t too tight on my curvy hips. I didn’t realize that it has a little lined grid pattern on the exterior until I received it — but I like the unique look that gives it. I’d buy it again if you make more colors!
Versatile quality hoody!
I bought two of these, one blue, one black. I am 5’ 8” and 130 lbs and the small fits really well. I run cold so they are warm enough for me to wear as a light fall jacket and great as an underlayer with my ski shell, though I most often wear them around my chilly house in winter. I washed the blue one a couple of times (cold water, line dried it), and it has cleaned up nicely despite having worn it while cooking spaghetti sauce once.

Perfect!
I ordered this hoody for a climbing trip where we will be doing big multi pitch routes, starting early in the morning. This is the perfect piece for chilly mornings and it’s a zip up, so easy to shed. There are two hand pockets and a chest pocket. The hood is the perfect size, not too big or too small. Overall, the hoody looks great and is warm! Fits true to size.
Great fit. Excellent top layer for riding
Another hoody I just love. The cut is flattering, scolloped bottom is a nice touch. Its heavy enough to combine with my vest and not have to wear a jacket for spring riding. And yet light enough to feel comfortable. I have two. The black and the purple. I wear them all the time.
Great fleece!
This is a great fleece! I love the color, kind of a salmon so not too dark and it’s long in the torso with deep pockets and the stretchiness makes it very comfy. It feels quite light for a fleece but it’s warm enough to act like a thicker layer and great for climbing in.
A bit heavier than expected
I thought this would be the same thickness/weight as all the other fleece layers that companies make, similar to the Patagoina R1. It is much thicker and doesn't fit under jackets as nicely as the R1 does. I would not recommend as part of your layering system.
Perfect cool mornings.
Fitted but with enough room to move. Long sleeves and body, so you can actually move without binding. Love this for over a t-shirt when the temp is starting to drop. Great to carry in the car, bag or backpack for just that little extra layer.
