Great heavy duty shoe for gnarlier rides, tricky cleat setup.

Pluses- Super comfy and confidence inspiring low-top riding 'boots'. Heavy duty toe box makes me not worry about rock strikes or dabbing in the wrong rocky place. Minuses- Don't love that they are so heavy don't breathe too well and I've never had so much trouble dialing in the cleat to shoe setup in my 30+ years riding with clipless. (super deep cleat recess and tacky 5-10 rubber made releasing all but impossible until I completed screwed in my pedal studs AND added double shims under each cleat)

Great Shoe - Terrible Design

This shoe appears to be design to look flashy but they hit the major marks. They’re ultra stiff but the worst to walk around in. The SPDs extend past the recess which make walking even harder. The strap seems to hold up even though it’s paper thin. Only time can tell. The insole and lacing are phenomenal and they breath nicely. The rubber is sturdy and stout but the sole is the biggest issue! The bottom sole Does not allow you to bike flats well - it’s near impossible without just pushing with your heels. More importantly, after two pairs the bottom sole is seamed directly at your toes point of contact if you’re walking up a rocky feature or trail. It has now twice come apart and begun to fail. I would say pursue another brand that wraps the sole over the toe and or welds the seam instead of gluing.

Heavy but nice

I was very skeptical when I opened the box. The shoes are heavy and look clunky, especially since I’m used to more traditional cycling shoes. I took a shot and wore them out for a ride, they are very comfortable, clip in and out well from the pedals, and are feel very stable. I definitely recommend. Only complaint is that the Velcro strap could be a little longer.

Extremely heavy and stiff

This shoe is more like a steel toed work boot than a mountain biking shoe. Each one weighs almost 2 lbs. Returned immediately!

Built like a tank

Bombproof bike shoes. Comfortable with great grip. Strap could do with being a fraction longer but overall great shoes
