What happened?!
My current pair of these lasted forever and were so comfortable I wore them all the time. Ordered a new pair, same size, but the footbed is much smaller and the fabric on the "thong" between the toes is really cheap, thick and uncomfortable. Torn on whether to try to break them in because my others were so beloved. Chacos, please go back to what made you great!!
Good Not Great
I have owned several pairs of Chaco flips over the years and these don't feel quite a comfortable as they have in the past. The biggest issue is the tread on the soles. The gaps between each tread are the perfect size to trap every small rock that you step on and they're not easily dislodged on doormats. I bought them to replace my old classic flips for working in the garden, but they will need to be outdoor shoes only, unless I want to spend 10 minutes picking rocks out of the tread.
fit changed just enough that I must return
I wore a pair of similar Chaco sandals for about 20 years. They finally fell apart and I purchased these as a replacement. Sadly, the fit of the straps on the new sandal is just enough looser that these slip off my feet as I walk. Happily I have other Chaco sandals in good shape and they are still my favorite brand.
Not recommended
These are not as comfortable as previous Chaco flips I own. The sole is not as thick and less cushioning. I wanted a new pair of Chaco flips, but these are not good for me.
fits small
these are not what they once were. I wish my Chaco weren't falling apart they have been faithful for many years. sadly the new ones I am returning. they are not made the same and fit small.
Strap Too Small
I literally could not get my foot in the strap. The footbed length was correct, and I own Z/2 Chaco's in the same size (and not in wide!), which fit great. I don't have wide feet, and have never had this problem with a pair of flip flops. Thanks for making me feel like an evil stepsister, Chacos.
Perfect fit and grippy tread
I love these flip flops. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. The tread on the bottom is grippy, I wear them in the gym shower (in addition to everywhere else). I wish there were more colors!
narrow
The soles are narrow and after a while they begin to hurt my feet. And then the straps of these are so small and don’t stretch for comfort. These are made for small petite feet.
Supportive and Comfortable
I have had 2 pairs of these Chaco flip flops and they almost never wear out. They offer great support and comfort to my feet.
