Great lightweight riding pants
Me,5'9" on a good day, 140 lbs. Small fits great with my 30" inseam and 29-30 waist. Ridden in these three times-gravel,high 40s and misting rain, trail twice-cloudy and sunny high in high 60s. I wasn't too hot or too cold on these rides. No worries of chain eating the cuff as cuff is narrow but not hard to get on or off. Did not get wet on the misty ride of about an hour. Nice stretchy fabric with ventilated crotch. Waist has velcro adjusters for perfect fit plus belt loops if you want to go that route. Nice change from tights. Slim fit. My wife calls these my hipster pants. Recycled fabric is nice feature. Worth the price.

Much smaller than advertised
I read all of the reviews before ordering because I have always found them to be very helpful and the sizing seemed to be accurately represented. The pants are labeled XL which, according to the chart, should fit a 36" to 39" waist. I have worn 38" x 30" pants for several years and some of those are actually slightly too large for me. These pants measure 34" to 36" at their full waist extension and the legs were too tight to wear even thin long underwear beneath, even if I had been able to fasten the waist. The fabric and design are excellent but the sizing is wildly inaccurate. I would order the next size if it were available. I had tried twice to find these in my local REI stores to confirm the fit before ordering but they were not stocked.

Great as hiking pants

I bought this pair of pants before going to Gates of the Arctic national park in Alaska. After a week and a half of trekking through some of the toughest terrain I’ve ever hiked, I was blown away by the durability of these pants. I used them in river crossings, constant rain, scraping through brush, relentless tussocks and scrambling up rocks and this material took a beating. The key points I’d like to make about these pants are of durability, quick drying, lightweight and flexibility. In all these categories they passed with flying colors! I could not be happier with this purchase.

Very Tapered but Robust

Really enjoying these pants for mountain biking. The fit is pretty tapered. I have relatively skinny legs and small calves yet these get about as tights at the lower lag yet are comfortably loose in the thigh and groin which I suppose is perfect for cycling. The crotch is vented (mesh) which caught me off guard. Great for air-flow, a little awkward if you have flashy underpants. I'm 155 lbs, 5' 8'' and the small has been great. Pants are holding up well to pedal strikes and whatnot. No tears after a couple of rough rides.

Goofy Sizing, Tiny Phone Pocket, Nice Material

The sizing of these pants is goofy. The waist is smaller than the fit guide and the inseam is 33" even though the fit guide says it's 31". The calf area of these pants are tight. I have no idea why they call these cycling pants as cyclists usually have well-developed calf muscles. The advertised cell phone pocket is ludicrously small. I guess it would have been ok back in the flip phone era, but there is no hope of putting a modern smart phone in it. Out of the package the material seems nice, but since I returned them I have no idea about longevity.

Excellent MTB Riding Pants

Bought these for the occasional cold weather ride and am really happy with them. Fit is as advertised, I have large calves and they are a snug, tape fit down to ankles. First ride I wore them on was great, basically they are so comfortable, you forget about them and concentrate on riding. As others have mentioned, they are light weight and breathable so not for really low temperature riding, perfect for SoCal winter weather. For the price, they are 5 stars

Great active, awkward casual pant

Some key points to know before you buy: -these are very lightweight and thin, almost like a looser base layer feel. If it's colder out you may need to pair them with some long-underwear. -they're pretty fitted. And because of the thin material, whatever you put in your pockets will bulge out. -the inseam gusset holes are a window to your inner thighs. If you're wearing them while just hanging out, people will see your skin or underwear. I'm also a little worried about the durability here since it's an area that can rub against my saddle. These are really nice for hiking and biking in warmer weather. Comfortable, the adjustment points and snaps work great, and they pack down very well. I just question the "hang-out" ability. I mean, you can hang out it anything, but it's advertised as such, and even though they look the part I stopped wearing these to commute and wear at work for some of the above reasons.

So good I purchased two

These pants are well made, as is most of the clothing from Zoic---at least in my experience. I am 6'1" at 175 lbs and the large fit me nicely. The waistband is elastic with velcro fasteners to take up any slack. The material is lightweight and stretchy, perfect for all but the hottest days, though probably not suitable for anything below 30 degrees unless you wear thermals underneath. I was so elated to finally find a pair of pants that I could use in the summer---sunscreen is such a hassle!---that I purchased a second pair immediately and may buy a third if they hold up to the rigors of some touring. If you're just into the urban thing, these could be perfect and will look off the bike as well. The only suggestion I would have for Zioc is that they make the material a bit thicker in the seat area. But at this price I'm not going to complain if I wear them out after a year. Nice color, too. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Lightweight and comfy

Slightly tight below the knees and a little short if you are over 6ft tall. The waist size feels fine and the pockets are real. Only complaint is the sizes. I couldn't find XXL or larger which is a bummer. I'm 6 ft 173lbs and these are a little short and tight around the calf in size large. I planned to wear bike pants underneath but bike shorts will do for the summer months.

Great biking pants!

Great fit. I’m 5’7”, 145. I bike 2-3 times a week in eastern WA, usually 15-20 miles with 2500’ elev gain. Great pants for spring or fall riding. Very lightweight so they don’t hold heat so not too hot when temps warm up. Also relatively wind resistant so they do well in colder temperatures. Can put riding shorts over them for extra warmth. Was doubtful at first but am sold after trying them.
