These boots are very comfortable and supportive for moderate temperatures. They are not double boots, so I am not sure if they would be suitable for expedition use. I have used them in single digit temperatures (8F), and they kept my feet warm for the time I used them (10 hrs). They work well with Petzl crampons, and have been used on both flat and vertical ice without issue.
