Design and comfort is OK but it releases dye on my clothes (mainly socks), feet and even hands by just touching it. Dye seems to be coming from the tongue (by the color).

Context: I have been a faithful Saucony supporter for over 10 years and I've had multiple pairs of Kinvara's that have lasted well over a year with normal wear and tear of light running and walking. I'm 5' 11" tall / 180 lbs and these Kinvara 12s lasted only 2 months of walking and a few jogs before the outer sole completely wore down to where it is almost all the way through (see pics). This made them extremely slick on any smooth surface and prone to slipping. It also made them very uncomfortable to wear and feel like they are "bottoming out" because the outer sole is completely worn through on the balls of my feet. I like to wear my shoes for a long time to not be wasteful, but had to retire these shoes within 3 months. It saddens me to say, but after years of buying exclusively Saucony I will now be looking to other brands for minimal light-weight shoes.
The fit is so perfect with the right cushioning and stability. I also wore it on a long trail run and it went great. I’m already 200 kms + on it in a month and I am just loving it. It’s so bright and colorful, I wear it all the time even if I’m going out just to buy groceries. And it gets all the attention. Lol
I've been running for 30 years and these are some of the best shoes I've run in. They have 5 months on them at this time. Durability: + the upper looks great still, it promises to last a long time - the sole on my left shoes is worn thing along one edge; my body has some inherent imbalance and shoes always wear in this area fast, but I've had shoes with tougher material over this part of the sole. Performance: + they are not slow. For me, they are good enough. The new fiber insert type shoes are the fastest for sure that I've tried, but they permanently damaged my big toe joints after just 3 months!!
I used to wear Nike products or HOKA for my runs, but when I got a person in my work area wearing these shoes, I asked how he liked those and he enjoyed them. I bought a pair and haven’t switched them out yet, but coming up on almost 400 miles on these shoes I’m getting another pair before I hit 500 miles in my Kinvara 12. Light weight, great for daily training, speed training and long distance run.
Lightweight neutral shoe good for training and racing. Small heel to toe drop with roomy toe box.
These are even better than the 11’s. Wow, such a great shoe!
Been loving them so far, especially the blue color-way I ordered! They’re so blue and vibrant. They’re comfortable, easy to tie and wear. The best part is how lightweight they are. Though, they are comfortable I wouldn’t say they are showstopping compared to my other runners I’ve worn in the past, but they get the job done. I would say I run more with my heel and the cushion is definitely there for the support. I run mainly on pavement. I also ordered my true size so the sizing I would say is like all my other runners. I recommend them for sure!
Thanks very much for your feedback.
I bought this shoe a month ago a local Fleet Feet in NC. I love the kinvara, have been using them on and off for multiple generations for running and strength training, great shoe. My only gripe would be the amount of rubber on the outsole of the shoes, i understand trying to make them lighter, however, the PWR sole material is definitely starting to wear out already, one month in. They are durable other than that, I would like to see more rubber throughout the entire outsole of the shoe, I use these shoes to play occasional sports as well, (badminton, pickleball, basketball) and would like back on to the shoe for more versatility.

With about 50 miles on my pair of Kinvara 12s, I am very pleased! The change to 'stretchy' laces took me a while to get used to in the 11s, but I'm glad they stayed with the 12s because I like the way they enhance the fit. While initially skeptical of the thinner ankle and tongue, I really like the change. The lighter weight tongue customizes the fit even more with the stretchy laces, and once my heel is 'locked in', the ankle support is perfect. While it's hard to tell after only 50 miles, I do think the forefoot material will hold up, and I do like the styling. I also really like the migration back to what brought me to the Kinvara series in the first place -- responsive feel of the shoe and firm feel of the shoe allowing a feel for the running surface.
