Runs very small to size
I like the pattern and the material if fine. I normally run between a medium and a large. Large is sometime just right, sometimes too big. For this shirt a large is too small and tight to wear. Sizing is off by at least a full size.
Make sure you own an iron
The pros: - has a great slim fit - killer patterns - looks great The cons - not the softest cotton by a large margin - slim fit could be bad for some - wrinkles if you look at it wrong Seriously though, the worst part about this short is how bad it wrinkles. They’re lucky the cut looks so good on my because otherwise I would not buy these shirts. I have to iron them after every wash. I have similar style button up cotton shirts from prana and Patagonia and they can go much longer without needing to be ironed
Poor sizing
I’m ordered a men’s size large. What arrived fit like a men’s size medium.

So thrilled I found this North Face shirt on sale at REI. It was the perfect gift for my BIL who is a botanist and Biology professor. He was so excited about it and I loved being the hero! It does run a touch small/slim so I sized up one size for him. Could not have been more perfect! Thanks REI(and NF)
Great fit, Deceiving Website Photo
The pictures indicate this is a navy shirt with white print. However, it’s a navy shirt with a teal colored print. I’m going to keep it because it fits well and is comfortable, but I would not have purchased it had I known it was not white.

Very attractive shirt. I get many compliments and they turn out to be just a conversation about The North Face. The shirt fits perfect and it’s a great time to wear it now.
