I purchased these for a recent six week bicycle tour. Overall I really liked the performance. They fit me well and were comfortable in temps ranging from 40 to 60. They breathed well for synthetic material. I liked the ventilated pockets and ventilation behind the knees. They dried quickly after a light drizzling rain. The durable material inside the right ankle at the chain rings performed well. The reason for 3 stars is the body material. After two weeks of riding, there was pilling behind the knees and on the fronts of the thighs.
These pants have now replaced the need for shorts. The extra protection, room for my pads, without being hot have me sold. I live and ride in the Flagstaff/Sedona area and see a wide temperature spread and still have not wanted to grab some old shorts on those warmer days. The only negative I could find is the zipper does not lock and has a tendency to unzip a smidge.
Fit is great, features are great. Fabric is pretty thin which is nice, but seems like it will be plenty durable. Zippered hip pockets fit a phone well for a quick ride. Favorite bike pants yet.
No complaints about anything so far. They crash well and feel really good riding. Worn in fall/winter thus far, but I'm sure they will be great for the spring. Maybe a bit too warm for Summer.
