Great under the belly maternity pant/hiker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grabbed these pants bc NO ONE makes maternity hikers that aren't leggings! Needed pants for PNW winter hiking. Was hoping they would be slightly heavier weight but they are actually great over thin merino tights and I'm sure they'll be perfect in the spring and summer on their own here in the Bay Area. Normally I wear a M in all the outdoor brands but got a L (short) in these are these and I haven't taken them off since I tried them on at home yesterday. Not a huge fan of the cargo pockets since they could use a button or Velcro tab, but overall these are awesome. Looking forward to trying them on in M in the Summer once I'm back to my pre-pregnancy size.

Comfortable, good material, runs big

These pants are lightweight, stretchy, and very comfortable. Beware that these run big - I am a size 6, don't have a flat stomach, 29" waist and 38" hips and usually wear M, but when I tried on M, the waistband had an extra 2 inches it seemed, too loose for hiking considering these are not high rise, you can't just tie it up higher. I bought it in size S and it was just right, no spilling over, no pinching when sitting or moving in different positions. Since the inseam is shorter, this is great for petite women and the leg cut is actually pretty flattering - no baggy knees or folding at the ankles. Would recommend!

Lightweight, refined

Our family recently travelled in Italy and opted to do so with just a few backpacks for the five of us. The pant was comfortable, easy to spot wash or wash/quickly air dry on the road, but still dressy enough for dining out in the evening (aviator navy, nice fabric) while also being durable & lightweight enough for everything else. It’s a nice navy. It also worked well for a recent backpacking trip with lots of mud! My waist is not small at 30-31” in somewhat low-rise jeans, and hips and chest run at 38” fyi.

Yes I will buy these again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am from a generation that had Quality made clothing that you could keep year after year. The companies knew that a Return Customer was their livelihood to survive in the competitive clothing market. Being consistent with that Quality , Style and Customer Service is what customers need. I am a North face Customer because I want these same qualities today. The Navy Cargo pants fit that criteria. The fabric is a sound choice for warmer weather. When shorts won't meet the outing...these Navy Cargo Pants are my choice . Thanks Northface for providing consistent quality clothing . Clothing that I know I can rely on.

Very promising pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these pants for my upcoming travels that involve hiking. I previously only wore leggings on hikes, but I wanted looser pants that I could layer. I like how lightweight these pants are! They're thin, comfortable, and fold up nicely while still feeling durable. I fall in between an XS and S on the size chart, and the S fits better. They're roomier and allow for more movement, and I also layer thermals or leggings underneath for colder adventures. The only reason I didn't give these pants 5 stars is because I need to wear them a few more times in different environments and put their durability to the test.

Perfect for canoeing and hiking or going out around town!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pants! I wore them canoeing and the water-wicking was fantastic, they dried so quickly. I also wore them hiking, and when I fell and scraped my knee the pants themselves didn't tear at all. I love them! There are 5 total pockets - the back one zips and then the two cargo ones are flaps and the two front ones are open. I got the Medium, I am 5'6" and about 140lbs and can wear them high waisted!

Pockets pockets pockets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved these pants, especially all the pockets! There is a small pocket in the back with a zipper so I can keep my ATM card and driver's license and not have to worry about it falling out. The pockets on the lower legs are great for storage but don't make you look bulky. It's great to have a change from wearing leggings. I was really happy with them after washing because they didn't need to be ironed, which is always a concern with pants. Super comfortable for hiking and walking. I am 5' 3" and ordered the "short" length and they fit perfectly! So great, no need to have them hemmed.

Comfortable and easy to wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The photo doesn't do these pants justice. I love the material and how free and airy these pants are. There are two side pockets where my hands rest comfortably and two cargo side pockets which I haven't really used because I don't like pockets bulging out. The waist is elastic and has a tie so it's easy to loosen or tighten. The color is between a medium and dark color and can be worn with other various colors. These pants wash really well and dries quickly due the material. I wish I had bought more colors!!! For reference I'm 5'7" and the pant hems are at my ankle.

Great for travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these for travel. they are very comfortable on long flights. They offer enough warmth on cold airplanes and are not too hot when I arrive at a warm destination. I bought the navy and liked them so much I bought a second pair in asphalt gray. The colors are easy to mix and match with. The large side pocket accommodated my passport easily, a really nice feature when trying to get through airports. They wash very easily and seem to repel water. I was not caught in a deluge, just a light shower, so I will caveat that comment. I would certainly recommend them.
