Disappointed in the product

Brooks model is not as good as the Moving Comfort was (Evidently Brooks bought the company). The straps come apart easily as they are not sewn in place, just hooked. The band around the torso is not tight enough. It has no support to hold “things” in place. This is not the fault of REI but Brooks product. REI doesn’t offer anything larger than 40, which is disappointing. It’s like they think larger women aren’t active! I just finished a 4080 mile ride across the USA! And I play about 10 hours of pickleball per week. I also hike or walk daily. Activity is my lifestyle and I’d sure like to find bras that fit!

Go to your vault if patterns Brooks and bring back the original Moving Comfort designs. We do want your “cute” straps. We want simple support! Thankfully I can sew and make my own adjustments to the straps. Bring back the Callie, Fiona and Maia bras!!!!

So disappointed

I was hesitant to get this bra because of the reviews but decided to give it a try. I’ll be returning it. The band has stretched so much the first time I wore it that it no longer offers support. The material looks nice but it sticks to my skin like wet rubber. It feels gross. The front of the band also flips up, see picture. I don’t know why Brooks changed so much with their bra line. I used to really like them. Now I have to start the dreaded search for a bra all over. Disappointed!

Rather disapointed.

I wore the Brooks Maia Moving Comfort bras for years. I bought this to replace one of them because my chest has changed over the years and the bras were worn out. I tried this on and thought it would work. It kind of does? I have the 34DD and the fit's just a bit off. There's room for slippage under the cups and the v shape of the front of the bra puckers in a weird way and it's visible under clothing. I would not say it's high support, probably medium. I walk a lot at work and walking is fine, but any sort of bouncing around will have movement. I can't just wear this bra to run in, I double up. I wish I liked this bra, but it's just not very good.

Providing the right support during pregnancy

Finding this bra has really saved me. I'm pregnant and my body changed quickly, increasing in two cup sizes, which made exercise feel awkward. I haven't felt up to running yet in pregnancy, but I've been walking regularly and getting the support I need with this bra. The material is comfortable in the heat, and the bra hooks make it easier to get on and off and adjust. I was grateful for Brooks' return policy, which allowed me to try several sizes and find my best fit. I would encourage trying a few different cup and band sizes to find what works best for you. As another reviewer noted, getting the right fit can make a big difference in support.

Sizing is way too small

I purchased the size I normally wear, which was the recommended size of your calculator. I liked the material and construction, but the fit was way off. I purchased a 36E, but the band was at least 3 inches too short. I measured and at full stretch and the band was only 32 1/2 inches. The material is firm with minimal stretch on the sides so there is no way this will stretch to fit. I really liked the style and fabric and had hoped it would work. I’m reluctant to purchase another style or size, but I want to find a better product than Victoria’s Secret sports bras. I am willing to listen to feedback with alternatives.

Terrible replacement for Maia bra

Bought this as replacement for my Maia bras, which I have loved for years. I tried multiple sizes to find the correct fit (I'm a 36DDD). Initially it felt ok, but once I started exercising, nothing stays in place. The bra stretches, my boobs shift, and the bra straps keep coming unhooked while exercising. I have had the bra for about 6 months hoping it would somehow improve, but no luck. As the weather has gotten warmer, it's like wearing a sweat suit, it chafes, the band below rolls and it feels not much better than wearing a normal bra. Please bring back the Maia bra for us larger chested gals with heavy boobs.

Huge No

I miss the Juno bras sooooo much! Bring them back, please! This underwire bra is a tragedy. The hook clips on the straps slip multiple times a day, and that is just with basic activities. I would never in a million years wear this bra working out, especially not running. The plastic circle rings holding the straps are also a nuisance; they squeak anytime I move my shoulders and it is annoying. I have surprisingly gotten used to the underwire but once again, I would never workout with a sports bra that contains underwire. I went from buying multiple pairs of Junos years ago that have lasted me 6+ years to potentially changing my running bra brand for the first time.

Favorite bra

This caught my eye while getting a new pair of shoes at my local run store. It is the perfect combination of support and comfort, and is now my favorite bra ever. It has enough support for a heavy workout, yet is light enough to wear everyday. So glad I was finally able to find a running bra that had enough support for a larger chest without hindering lung capacity. Liked it so much that I went back later to get 2 of the blacks, and the light pink, and here on the website, I was excited to see the teal! Hoping that they hold up well, and will come back in a few months to review how they have broken in.

Probably designed by a man!

This bra is made out of some awful foam-type fabric. I spill over the top so I know large breasted women were not consulted in this bra’s design. It is definitely NOT as good as the Maia bra that I’ve worn exclusively for years. Can’t believe they’ve discontinued it.
