Soft Silent Performance

5 stars for me. It has been in driving rain and is dry! Compared to other shells I've owned or tried on, this nylon blend is comfy soft and make NO NOISE when walking in silence on the trails. super light and packable. The pocket system a little different from my other shells however there is plenty of space, especially a larger internal pocket I use for iPhone. The hood works great with a ball cap which I always have; fits me funny with no cap. I haven't drug it through briar patches (yet) it does work well as a ski shell too. I am 5'8" 167 lbs. size L gives me adequate space for layers below 30F in activity modes. My only negative is price. Many lower price alternatives I have not tried; I needed a new shell and am a big Kuhl shorts and pants fan/owner so just forked over the $.

really nice fit, snug but not too tight, light (living in the south US means most rain is during the warm season), excellent jacket. the only thing I would change is to make the inner pockets large enough for a phone.

This jacket was an excellent purchase. Wore it in Scotland for 17 days and a good portion of my hiking was in wind driven rain. I'd give it 100 stars. Great design and tested tough.

Very comfortable and wearing casually, it doesn’t feel like a sweaty bag. Performs well, although I’ve only had it on for really one long rainy day…performed then though.
