Great Sawtooth/White Cloud Info Source, date 2020
This is a great map for an overview of the Sawtooth and White Cloud Wilderness Areas and their respective mountain ranges. Used alone, it is sufficient for fair weather, day hikes, mountain biking and summer backpacking, There are sidebar blocks of information regarding general information, rules and regulations on the White Cloud side. Bike trail information blocks on the Sawtooth side. Trail head pictographs includes permitted and prohibited modes of travel. Trails depict altitudes and mileages of start/finish points, plus those of trail intersections. I also use it to survey backcountry fishing opportunities. If embarking on any winter trips (ski mountaineering/snowshoeing), I recommend referencing a 7.5 minute map for serious route study or avalanche risk analysis.
