I really like that this helmet is slightly more narrow, and doesn’t make your head look huge. It doesn’t sacrifice safety either because I did take a nasty fall when I caught my heel edge while snowboarding at night. I was glad I wore this helmet.
IF YOU HAVE A NARROW HEAD, THIS IS YOUR HELMET. I tried on every smith helmet wanting to like them but they’re round and my head is not. If you need a 5 star helmet in safety, design, and comfort AND YOU HAVE TROUBLE WOTH HELMET SHAPES, this helmet is all you.
After trying several other helmets, I finally landed on the Giro Jackson MIPS, and it was a game-changer. Unlike others, this one fit naturally and comfortably right from the start. The sleek, low-profile design looks great on the slopes, and the MIPS technology offers peace of mind with its advanced protection against rotational impacts. The ventilation system works well to keep my head cool without compromising warmth, and the fit adjustment dial ensures a snug, secure fit. I also appreciate how lightweight it feels, even after hours of wear. Overall, this helmet has the perfect balance of style, comfort, and safety, making it a top pick for anyone on the slopes.

This helmet is super comfortable and considerably lightweight. Favorite thing is the vent on the brim that allows for air to travel in to your goggles and prevents fog. Nobody likes goggy foggles.
First the bad, the goggle clip is one of the worst designs out there. It should really be pointed down to prevent a goggle from sliding up over the helmet or just do a strap with a button so you can quick snap a goggle in. I also found the fit slightly odd, its a bit taller than most helmets, maybe not a great pick if you have a wider head, but I was able to make it work. I like it a lot because the liner is a bit thinner and breathes well. I frequently found myself overheating while skiing using helmets I had rented. This one breathes nicely and allows me to hear mostly unobstructed. There are many ways to layer and make a helmet warmer if needed, but on warmer days you still gotta wear a helmet for safety so cooler is better in my opinion. I got some Giro goggles to go with it and I was very surprised to see just how well they fit with each other, the cutout lines up perfectly.
This helmet is great, it kept my head warm and also fits nice! Protected my head really well when I took a couple tumbles. Highly recommend
Just love my Giro MIPS snow helmet. Very comfortable...easy adjusting. Looks good. Nothing not to like here. Highly recc.
A great helmet, comfortable and warm on cold days. Easily adjustable to head size
This is my first helmet. It’s comfortable, warm and did not impact my hearing like other helmets I tried on. After use, my only suggestion would be that the chin strap would be more comfortable if it were wider, more substantial.
