The shirt they sent is not even remotely close to the one in the picture. Very poor quality and different pattern. Do NOT BUY.

Great looking and comfortable shirt.

I saw a friend wearing this shirt and was amazed how well it fit and the way it hung, so I had to buy a couple for myself. They didn't disappoint. They're comfortable with just a little stretch and nice breathability. It's just a great shirt to wear.

On Sale?

It's a little annoying that having purchased this "on sale" at REI for $50 I found that I should have bought it on sale from Marmot for $23.

Best shirt ever created

I cannot say enough good things about this shirt. I own 5 of them (blue) currently and will probably purchase more in the future as I stained one of them. I work as a wedding photographer and needed a nice shirt that doesn't show when I sweat profusely and also a shirt that is breathable and not too hot. This shirt checks every box. I get compliments on it when I am working as well as when I wear it out on the town or camping. It doesn't need ironing, doesn't produce weird smells, dries quickly and looks great over time. The first shirt I purchased was 5-6 years ago and it is still looking great and in the rotation. This shirt is a must have for anyone that works in a stressful and hot industry that wants to not look or feel like a walking soup dispenser.

Nice shirt, but not as nice as they used to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice shirt, but it’s not the same or as nice as the previous version. I owned this shirt before and I loved it so much I wanted another exactly like it, but the new version is very different. The color, the fabric type/texture and breathability as well as where the tags/logos are placed are totally different from the version I loved so much. The cut & fit is very similar which is nice. I’ll be interested to see how this new fabric holds up over time, travel and lots of temperatures.

Finally, a sun shirt that isn’t a tent!

This shirt fits well — by which I mean the sleeves are long enough, it doesn’t hang down to my thighs, and it doesn’t fit like a tent. It’s well designed for someone with an athletic/normal body type, not for someone with a large belly. I’m 6’1” and 175 lbs. The medium fits and looks good, but snug around shoulders. Okay for wearing when not expecting to do things like paddling or bouldering. I kept a large also for more room for when I want to be more active and also have room for a t-shirt under it. This is the best sun shirt I have ever seen. All the other brands I’ve tried are huge, billowy, with too short of sleeves. Highly recommend. I may get 1-2 more colors. Looks good enough to wear out on the town, and I can definitely see this being a go to travel shirt. Marmot - don’t change this shirt ever!

Color is COMPLETELY off from website.

Purchased this shirt in “Picante” as it looked like a fairly bright orange/red but not as obnoxious as hi-vis or neon. Was planning to wear it as a “Don’t run me over” shirt while cycling and also a “Please don’t shoot at me while I’m hiking” garment. The true color is like a dark terra-cotta flower pot. Returned without even taking out of the packaging so cannot comment on quality or fit. Reviewing to possibly save somebody else from purchasing for similar reasons as I did.

Quality shirt that fits great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great shirt and I will be getting a few more. The shirt looks nice, not like your typical, casual outdoor/travel shirt. The fabric is super light, but not see-through at all. I'm a somewhat large guy and the XL fits me well, but loose and comfortable, as I like it. The only thing I would change is removing the buttons on each sleeve, used to hold them in place if you roll them up. I don't really use that, but you also don't really notice them.

Best shirts I've ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought all 4 colors. I love that these shirts are modern. I am 5'8", 160 lbs, 30 inch waist and the Small fits absolutely perfect. Sleeve and overall length is amazing. Perfect amount of room that allows for movement. These shirts feels lightweight and comfortable. Love that these shirts can go from outdoor to a business casual setting. Without a doubt, these are the best shirts I've ever owned. Please release more colors!

Cool, Comfortable, Great Looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these shirts on a whim and as soon as it arrived I went and ordered two more in other colors. The fit is perfect for me and the shirt combines breathability, stretch, and smooth, professional lines in a way that make it ideal for combining physical activity with occasions that demand a more professional or put-together appearance (walking a couple of miles to campus and then teaching, for instance).
