Sun Bum  Mineral SPF 30 Sunscreen Face Lotion - 1.7 fl. oz.

I give this a 4 star review because it can be chalky if not rubbed in thoroughly. It’s also very white so don’t even think about it if your skin is really dark. Try their tinted version? I do like that it has no shine; you don’t look greasy or sweaty from it. Their is a larger tube of what appears to be the same sunscreen sold by SunBum for less, but the ingredients are different. This product has zinc and titanium as active ingredients and the other uses zinc alone. I think that’s why it doesn’t have the greasy look to it. I like the product and it’s the only non-shine sunscreen I’ve found. It works like sunscreen ;)

Since it’s a mineral/physical UV block sunscreen, a little bit does go a long way, and it takes a little bit of elbow grease to work it into your skin. However, once the lotion is set, my skin looks great! Normally after I moisturize in the morning, I’ll see little pesky white flakes around my mouth/nose/eyes pop up later that are dry again—not the case with this face lotion! My skin looks really smooth. Bizarre because the powdery/matte surface finish makes you think that your skin would be dry, but it doesn’t feel or look tight or dry at all—almost magical. SO glad to have found a non-scented, vegan, oil-free face lotion with mineral SPF at long last!

This goes on so smooth, blends in well, does not feel oily or sticky. It's completely matte, I'm so happy I can put this on without having to put a bunch of powder on top, which means I can easily reapply throughout the day!! I'm prone to breakouts and my face gets extremely oily, this actually helps tame that oil and I haven't gotten any of my usual sunscreen breakouts. Also shout-out to it not making my eyes sting and water, not sure if that's because it's a mineral sunscreen but it's a huge plus. I feel safe putting this around my eyes. I'm SO happy with this!

I was iffy about this product at first, but I bit the bullet and bought it. First I want to say, This isnt the tinted verson of the sunscreen. Its just the regular basic sunscreen without pigment. (I didnt even know Sunbum made a regular 30 mineral face sunscreen until I saw this) I have dark brown skin and I was shocked at how well it blended out into my skin. (With this product, start with a little amount and add more if you need more) A little goes along way. Like alot of over sunscreens, I found if you apply too much it gives your skin a purplely hue (if you have darker skin like me), but if you add the correct amount No one would notice you were wearing sunscreen. Youre skin might look purplely at first after putting it on but it fades within a few seconds After application, it leaves my skin feeling soft and there is no white cast. It also doesnt make me break out. Ive found this sunscreen can leave a more gritty feeling on my skin after I sweat alot or been outside in the sun for a long time (Its probably due to it being a mineral sunscreen), but it isnt visible. I personally dont mind it because I wash my face twice a day.

Since this was mineral based, I was hoping it would work into my skin. It felt and looked like chalk when applying. Perhaps the tinted would have been better.

This is a pretty good mineral sunscreen. It's harder to mix than All Good brand, which I prefer. But it gets the job done.

Non greasy and feels great on my skin. Doesn’t break out my sensitive skin. Wear alone or under makeup. Great product.

I am allergic to every plant, shrub, tree, animal, fur, feather, lotion, etc. under the sun (I live on a small family farm and deal with it because I love my critters, don't judge me). I don't wear make-up because of the allergies (my eye-liner and brows are tattooed on for a reason, again, don't judge me). But, I live in California and need sunscreen! And I'm old enough to need eye cream and face lotion. I have tried every high end product out there, including (delete here if I'm not supposed to name names) Clinique, Arbonne, Mary Kay. This is the only one that doesn't make me dive for my allergy nasal spray! Goes on powder soft. Dang, just can't say enough good stuff about this miracle in a tube. (My teenage daughter said it dried her skin at first, but give it a day or two, and your skin adjusts, and it doesn't cause breakouts!).
