These are my first pair of dedicated MTB shoes. I researched various options of both 510 and others and decided on these. When they arrived i must say the pictures don't do them justice. They are far more substantial then they look on the website, and I reckon will take a real good pounding before they give up the ghost. They are comfortable, a little narrow but do get better as you wear them, I wore them around the house for an afternoon so I wouldn't get caught out miles away with shoes I could barely walk in. Amazing grip on the pedals even on fairly short pins. All in all a very good pair of shoes that are fit for purpose, I just wish that they were waterproof or at least resistant.
Ive put around 260 miles on these shoes. They are paired with a set composite flat pedals and the grip is honestly fantastic. For reference I've worn out two sets of free rider pros and a set of impacts. These are by far my favorite of the three. The feel and fit of the shoe are spot on. I only have two complaints. The sleeve (unsure of the verbiage) that sits around your ankle allows a lot of dirt and small rocks to make their way into the shoes. There is no notable impact protection for your toes. Ive had two pretty hard impacts with both feet on rocks and the toes boxes folded like paper. With that said I will be purchasing another set when these reach their end of life. Much love!
More narrow and light weigh than the Freerider, as others have said the sizing is a little strange - long and narrow. I sized down from 9.5 to 9 and they fit well, but a little snug in the width. Grip is great and a little less stiff than other mtb shoes I've had. Pedal grip is great and the extra flex and tread are good for hike a bike sections, but still a bit stiff and little cushion so I wouldn't wear them on a hike or just walking around unless necessary. Only a couple of rides in, so can't comment on durability yet.
Really love these trailcross XT shoes, the Stealth sole is so grippy and I think the trail runner design looks so good. Quality is excellent and they are comfortable - I would recommend going at least 1/2 a size up from your usual perhaps even 1 size up. Just as comfy off the bike as well so perfect for a bit of hike a bike
Fitment: I have fairly wide feet (4 in wide) and normally wear a size 8 in my ultraboost and 7.5 in my stan smith. The size 8 fits me perfectly with a comfortable toe box for my wide feet. The 7.5 was a bit tight for my liking. Overall this fits true to size Pros: - great grip - comfortable - slim silhouette (similar to my ultraboost all terrain) - cuff is comfortable and barely noticeable while riding - comfortable while walking - cuff keeps dirt and debris out Cons: - hard to tighten with slippery shoe lace - lack of lace keeper (shoe lace might get caught in drive train)
After only 5 months of walking use, not hiking not biking, the sides start to peel off, after 1 month of that issue they became totally useless, not a solid product as they advertise , no good for hiking either just for walk…
Quality of my addias footwear is excellent very comfortable,as I bought 5/10 for my mtb day out...I feel they saved my feet from some serious damage while riding in the trials
First pair of MTB kicks. I picked up a Trek a few weeks ago, figured I’d these a shot. Worn them a few on the bike and a few walking the trails. So far, so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Proper grip on flat pedals Firm pedal feel for power transfer yet not too stiff to walk in
