If you have not tried a modern pair of fully rockered skis with matched side cut, you really owe it to yourself to take another look at the genera. Gone are the days of this category being a one trick deep powder surf pony. There area lot of great skis in this category these days, however the Saba Pro is a standout. These skis are unsinkable in west coast "powder", rail groomers, handle high speed lines with confidence and have enough pop to be quick in the trees and tight spaces. I love skiing these with my young daughters because I can do easy whirlybirds on them, ski backwards despite my modest reverse skills, and have fun both on the groomers with them, and the trees and chop to the side where I can still keep an eye on them. And of course, when it gets deep, and they retreat from the blizzard, these skis are too much fun to believe. If I have one negative comment about these it is the comment I apply to all Icelantic skis, they are HEAVY. When stood up agaisnt competitors they consistently tip the high end of the scales. I am 5'7" @ 140lbs and picked these up in 177. Given my stature, these are some of the heaviest sticks I own that I consistently reach for. As such, they do limit the total number of runs I can put in in a day. If I were, younger, stronger, fitter, (bigger?) maybe it would not be an issue. Either way, these are some heavy boards. Pros: unsinkable, poppy, damp, playful, hard charging, non directional, will elevate your jumping game Cons; HEAVY
