I love my running gear and really do my homework before purchasing anything. So, that said… Things I love about this coat: The hood- awesome coverage and stays in place The material- really does an excellent job blocking the wind and drizzle The partially adjustable hem (front only) is a nice touch! Reflective details - make a dark coat stand out well at night What I am not a fan of: The rustle. The hood of this coat makes an obnoxious swishing noise as your run. It’s quite loud and disrupts my ability to listen to music on my aftershockz. There’s no way to fold down/snap down the hood when you’re not using it. That, in combination with the loud rustling, is a major drawback for me. Lastly, after wearing it only for around a month (~8-10 wears and a couple washes), small are starting to unraveling from near the zipper. I’m not worried about the quality of this jacket and how long it will last. I had heard On products were excellent and durable, so I thought I’d try this one. I must say, I’m pretty disappointed given the price point.

It's worth it.

I love this jacket! It was more than I normally like to spend on a running jacket but after taking it out for a few runs I think it is worth it. The quality matches the prices. It fits well, looks nice, and is functional. There is an inner mesh inside that makes it really comfortable compared to other weather running jacket's that tend to feel like garbage bags. The cuffs are also one of my favorite parts there is a small bit of elastic to help the jacket fit well around with wrists to keep moisture out but not too tight to be uncomfortable.

On Jacket

Runs small!! I ordered up because I don’t like anything too tight and it’s still very small. It fits so I’ll keep it but I can hardly wear anything underneath. Very nice quality and beautiful colors black/plum color. I think the price is too high. 5’5 140 size small or 4-6 and ordered a medium.

Love it! Keeps me dry and so quiet!

Love this jacket - it's super quiet when running, even with a hood on. I found the fit to be trim, but right right for me (5'4, 120lbs and have a size small). It's not waterproof but it's kept me nicely dry even in fairly heavy rain when running for 30-40 minutes. It's also just a beautifully put together jacket - I want to run just so I can wear it!

A winner

Beautifully designed. Stretch in all the right places. I love the neutral, earthy colors. Thank you On for giving women the option out of the pink, purple and baby blue tones that companies often think women want. Best bonus - the jacket packs up small enough into a pocket with a comfortable stretch fabric attached for carrying as you run.

Good not Great

I love how light and good looking this jacket is but don't really love the non adjustable, somewhat tight wrists of the jacket. It definitely runs on the small side but not so much that you need to size up.

Gorgeous and featherweight

This jacket is beautiful and won’t weigh you down. The sleeves and hood have beautiful detailing and there are front and rear body vents. The entire jacket is gorgeous. I recommend going up a size. I am 5’4”,120 lbs, and the medium fits perfectly. My husband surprised me with this for Christmas. I am thrilled with it.

worth the investment

I bought this for running in windy weather, and it is perfect. So lightweight but effective as a windbreaker, and vents well. Also looks very sharp for athletic wear. Ended up being worth the steep price because I wear it almost everyday and purchased during 20% off promo

Love this jacket!

Love this jacket! It’s incredibly light weight, breathable, and water just bounces right off. I love how the hood stays put and really keeps the rain out. Perfect for the Pacific NW runner.

It was worth the splurge

I am 143lbs, 5'7", got this in a Medium, and I really like the fit. It's slim and falls right at the hips. CA has been hit with a series of storms, and I found myself in need of a running jacket that is breathable and lightweight. I took it out today for a 16 mile trail run and the weather ranged from misty to cold rain with wind. The temps were in the mid 40s and the entire time I had this jacket on with a running vest and a thin tank underneath. It was comfortable start to finish. I am thoroughly impressed with how well it repelled the water during light rain, and when we got drenched, it did not feel gross when it clung to my arms. Then it dried pretty quick when the rain lightened up again. My only one nitpick is that when I have the zip down a bit for more venting, I have to tuck the corners of the top section underneath my running vest. They tend to stick up and poke at my chin. I'm not sure if this issue would be there without a running vest. Overall, I really like this jacket. It's lightweight, breathable, and exactly what I needed for this very wet winter.
