Great All-Around Snow Boots-15 Degree Inaccurate
Okay these are great all-around snow boots and my daughter used them for just about everything that Snowsports can throw at them. They are lightweight, comfortable and for the most part very warm. I do have to ding them a little because they state they are good down to -15...I am guessing the composites won't fail is their reasoning because @ around 10 degrees above F she started to get cold toes...We took a 1.5 hour snowboarding ride and she almost couldn't feel her toes by the end of if. It was roughly 22 degrees that day. So they say -15 F...I can assure you better have heated socks if that's the temps you are wearing them in!
Cheap material
I bought these boots for my daughter in January we are in April and she does not want to use them anymore because the material inside has come undone and has become uncomfortable for her feet she has worn them for 3 months I expected something of better quality for the price I paid

Solid adventure boot
Best kids boot on the market by far. Warm and rugged these boots can handle the roughest of play.
No Support
We got these for our son as his general winter boot, but we had to return them after just a couple walks outside. The insole has very poor support, and its made worse by the lack of any way to tighten the elastic bands. If your foot is narrow or pronates, these boots are terrible for you. We've since gotten a different Merrell boot with a stiffer insole and with the ability to tighten the straps. I honestly don't know who these are for, but they definitely weren't for us.
Great boots
These Boots are super easy for the kids to put on themselves. The snow stayed out of the top. Perfect fit and very good grip on ice and snow.
Not insulated...
These LOOK like they are insulated, but they are not; it is just a shell. My 8yo's feet were ice cold in mild temps,
Kids' Favorite Shoes
I got my kids each a pair of these at the end of last winter, and they very quickly became their favorite shoes. For everything. They love hiking in them, playing in them, and we finally got our first snow of the season up in Maine and they stood up very well for their intended purpose as well. My 5 year old has a lot of sensory aversions to boots that he has not experienced with this style--no blisters, no complaining that they are too tight or that the material doesn't feel good. I initially ordered a size too big to make sure they had room to grow so they just wore thick socks, and now they fit true to size, and I will definitely be ordering the next size up so they can keep wearing them!
Perfect winter boots!
Bought a pair for each kid and played in the snow yesterday. Absolutely waterproof- through several hours of snow play and hiking, even crossing a couple creeks. They are lightweight in comparison to standard kid boots, so they were easily able to run around in them. True to size. Very happy with these!
Thank you for choosing Merrell!
Worth every penny!
This is our second year with this boot, and we love them! We live in the Pacific North West, so we have lots of wet weather, and occasionally it gets pretty cold too. We love to hike, explore, and generally enjoy the outdoors. These are the best kids boots because they fit like a shoe but protect like a winter boot! They are true to size, and they last despite all the mud, snow, tree climbing, camping, puddles, and everything else our busy 5-year-old throws their way. We handed down last years, and they are on to their second happy owner!
Happy in KY!
Purchased these for my oldest Daughter and my son (10 & 8). I did not know what to expect- but the Merrell label has been reliable in the past - so i made the purchase, taking advantage of a sale. We live in KY but travel to WI over the winter, from time to time. Loved that these were easy - slip ons! They are light weight and have an incredible real rubber sole! They are waterproof... and they have held up against the mud in our barn yard, as well. Typically my son reaches for his thin rubber rain boots to wear outside - but given how easy these are - he is reaching for these. They don't have much ankle support which was expected - since its a slip on. Honestly, an excellent value! Glad I grabbed these for the season and will be reaching for them again, in the future! Cheers!
