I have a size 12 foot. I generally find regular or large size size OTC ski sicks tend to not stay over my calf. I ordered an XL for this pair. They are long - perhaps too long, needing to be slightly folded under my knee. Very warm. Solid alpine ski sock.
Very warm and comfortable. I love how it fits and how it feels in my ski boots. The warmth level is also pretty good, but it won't overcome really tight boots if the mercury drops below 15-20F in my experience.
Used these socks while skiing. They felt comfortable. The temperature that day was around 33 degrees F so not so cold but socks worked fine. So after wearing them for six hours feet felt good.
Only worn once so far but very comfortable. I have narrow and tight ski boots and these socks worked well with them. Cushioned in the right places.
great quality. thick across the board, but not heavy or sweaty. super comfy with lots of support for calvs/achilleas , shins and toes.
Great socks that wear well and stay up. This is my second pair. Still using my first pair after three years.
Used these over a couple weekend trips up in the snow this past season to Keystone and Heavenly. These socks did a great job of wicking moisture away from my feet. Even after taking the socks off the outside was noticeably damp, but I had no idea until I took them off since they kept my feet so dry all day. I’ve worn the wrong socks before and will never forget the gross soggy feeling of saturated socks in the snow. Only suggestion is better color choice
Alas, these OTC socks ended up being OTK. Far too tall. I ordered small, and the heel fit perfectly - ince I'm a size 8 - but they were far too tall. Can't keep them, but they seemed otherwise really nice.
after one use hole developed at the big toe
Warm socks—warmer than I expected since they're not too thick. And they're not too tight. I have other brands of wool socks that are quite dense and tight on my foot. These feel just right. So right that I bought a second pair today.
