This shirt is so soft! I bought it to wear while running and XC skiing in Midwest winters. But now I’m wearing it as a base layer when I’m doing non-outdoor activity too! It’s warm, but doesn’t feel bulky. This is the first Kari Traa item I’ve owned and I already want another one! I love the blue/teal color too! I ordered a medium and a large and ended up keeping the medium bc I wanted a tighter fit. The large would have worked as well too though. For reference: I’m 5’3”, 160lbs, pear-shape with b-cup, and have some extra goodness around my waist. I normally wear a medium in top and size 10 pants. I also ordered the matching leggings but in large because...hips.
I’m 5’2’’ 115lbs, size small is a tab big on me but the XS was too form fitting. The sleeves are too long and the torso is a generous length, but I like the long sleeves so I can tuck my hands in while I’m warming up early on my run. The stripes are too fun, I wish it came in more colors I’d buy more! I will say I’m so used to wearing merino I was surprised how bad this smelled after my run, but I also hadn’t showered yet that day so maybe I was just smelly!
Bought size M. I'm 5'6", 137lbs, and usually a size S/M or 6. This fit very well. I have long arms & a long torso, and this top was plenty long on both! Very happy. The material is incredibly soft. I wore it under a vest and it kept me comfy in 55-degree weather. It is form-fitting (though not compressive) so if you want a baggier fit I would size up. Otherwise I found it to be TTS. And the bird/flower print is SO cute.
Sleek and warm! I bought this and also a wool thermal shirt from KT. Be advised that this thermal shirt is not wool, like the others. This one is nore like a spandex fabric. It is great for winter sporting layers or running in cold weather.
This is a great base layer for winter biking or hiking. Silky. Love the stripes.
My skin is really sensitive and merino base layers are just too itchy! This top was perfect as a base layer for being outside in subzero temps for a long time--not itchy at all. I hiked in this and it wicked away sweat really well. I am 99 lbs and got the small, which had a form fitting but not overly snug fit. The sleeves were a tiny bit tight, so you might want to size up if you're unsure what to get.
I love the fit and the material is comfortable. I purchased to wear as a base layer for downhill skiing. I do need something much warmer to wear over it as a second layer, however.
Adds warmth without bulk. Great addition to my winter walking arsenal. Very snug fitting. I am 130, 5'4" and a medium was skin tight. Large fits well.
I LOVE this shirt! It is super soft & fits well! I never want to wear it as an UNDER layer because it’s so cute!
Cute color, comfortable. I sometimes just wear as a shirt vs base layer. Really nice. Especially for the price.
