Just what I needed!
Warm, plenty roomy if I need to add some long underwear, and very comfortable. I needed a pair of lined or insulated pants for walking the dog in sub freezing temps and these are working perfectly.

Do better on your sizing Kuhl. Embarrassing:..
Pants seem to made well, but the sizing is way off, rendering them useless to me. I wear a 29/32 in every other pant. Ordered a 30/32 and I could barely get them pulled up around my waist. They are also about 2” too short, the don’t even get over the top of my boot.

Great pants except for the snap

My favorite pants, I own a few pair of the insulated and non-insulated version. Comfortable and easy to move around in. Except for the snap button. There is some inconsistency from pair to pair. Some pairs the snap actually does what it's supposed to. Some pairs it will pop open when you sit down/stand up. Some pairs it will pop open just from twisting your torso. I've found that it's possible to gently tap the snap with a hammer or put it in a small arbor press to mushroom the snap a little bit to make it fit more snugly. Careful not to go too far though, it's possible to mushroom it too much to fit. If this happens you can squeeze the nub with some pliers to un-mushroom it. The snap is the most disappointing part of the pants.

Great pants to keep you warm in the winter

I love these pants. They are sturdy, and the flannel liner keeps you quite warm. I live in southern Oregon where winter temperatures are in the 30s and 40s typically. I've even worn these in 50 and 60 degree weather and they're still comfortable. They are well-made, made of a thick canvas type material, and quite sturdy. Reading other reviews of Ryder pants indicates that their snap button pops open too easily. Maybe they over-engineered a fix, because in my pants, not only does the button remain closed, but when taking them off, the snap button is actually hard to open, which is the only (minor) complaint I have about them.

Best pair of outdoor pants I have ever owned!

These pants fit great, are extremely durable, are well made and very comfortable out on the trail. A bit pricy but, overall have shown to be well worth the price. I plan to get several more pairs in the future.

Great trousers with inconsistent dimensions

These are a great pair of cold weather trousers. However, their dimensions are wildly off; their waist is routinely 2–3" smaller than reality.

A fall/ winter must have

A warm, breathable and anatomically designed set of pants make the long cool mornings, breezy days and chilly evenings all times for which to look forward! I was pleastly surprised to the firm, yet elastic waist band that hugs my body so heat cannot escape. However, the breathable fabric is a work of art whilst keeping me warm at the same time! I do not doubt that the durability of the Hot Rydrs will last me through the years. The stretch panels strategically placed still allow me to get around without making me feel restricted.

Stellar fit and material, bad look after washing

I own two pairs - one in dark khaki and one in black. The "lived in" look seems to be okay with the dark khaki, but the black ones really just look sloppy and dirty after two washes. I've washed them inside out and following the recommended washing methods. The fit and comfort is excellent for me - but it just doesn't make sense that premium priced pants look like i just got done doing drywall work fresh out of the wash - let alone while the pants are basically still brand new.

Solid long term winter pant

These seem to be great pants. So far I've only worn them a little bit, but these are a pant I'll keep for years and they seem like they'll hold up. The thick fabric and floating flannel lining seems to be great at blocking wind and providing a buffer from the cold. They are a looser fit, but that is very welcome since there is very little stretch and you don't want tight pants in the cold. I'm normally a 31/31 and I went with a 32/32 and they fit great with a bit of room.
