Way Smaller Than Advertised!

I have used these a lot in the past for backpacking. This is a new style that just came out and they are shockingly smaller than the old design. Construction and quality seems good. Open and closure is not as good as the old ones but is fine. But the big thing is the size. The "3L" would not even hold 1L. And the "5L" is even smaller than the old 3L, it might hold 1.5L. See pics. The pic with 2 yellow bags is the old and new designs of the 3L and the pic with the yellow and red bags is the old and new designs of the 5L. I am so disappointed with the new sizes. Guessing from these two bags, you should divide the size by a factor of 3 at least to determine actual size.

bad math

I bought the “3L” bag last week it is a very nice bag, however it is significantly less than 3L - it is impossible for a bag with 96 sq in area to have a volume of 183 cubic in (3L), at least in this universe. It can at best be 1.5 L, which looks about right for the bag I received. All the volumes listed for these are about half the actual volume.

Please bring back the old mesh bag (Very small)

My 8L from 2019 is over twice as larger as the current 12L. The old model also has a nice drawstring and better made. The new one is cheaply made, flimsy drawstring and very small. This mesh bag is like any other mesh bag you can get online for cheap and heading back to the store. Please bring back the old model.

Much smaller than expected, functional

As stated in other reviews: Does not meet the indicated capacity. I have a stuff sac from another brand and their 2.1L is approximately the same size as the REI “8L” model. Construction is acceptable, very light materials so unsure on longevity just yet but should be good enough to haul wet socks and undies around.

Small

Sizing on these is way off. Ordered an 8L, it’s actually closer to the size of other 4L stuff sacks I own.
