Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Loved the features, disappointed in the quality
I purchased this jacket 4 months ago and have been loving it as my main ski jacket. It has plenty of spacious pockets that are well-positioned for phones, lift passes, lens cloths, keys, snacks, and anything else you want to carry. The snow skirt has kept snow out, the hood fits nicely over my helmet, and the Gore-Tex has kept me dry even in the wettest of conditions. The lack of insulation has been perfect for me as I can customize my base and midlayers for the conditions and not feel overheated by this outer layer. However, after 15-20 days of use on the slopes, the side seam split open with no provocation. Definitely disappointed in the quality here as I expected a jacket at this price to last more than 4 months. I was loving this jacket but it definitely let me down. I'm hoping I just got a bad one and this isn't representative of the overall quality.
Awesome jacket!!
I have been looking for a new gortex jacket for awhile now and finally found the perfect one! This is a very substantial jacket with lots of great features to it. I love the fit (perfect for layering my puffy underneath with plenty of room for movement), lots of pockets in easily accessible places, pit zips, a powder skirt that keeps in the heat, and a hood that works well with a helmet. I went skiing yesterday (Vermont) and it was cold and snowing heavily and I was very warm and cozy and dry throughout the day. I also want to mention that the price is very reasonable for a gortex jacket. Absolutely LOVE this jacket and very satisfied with my purchase.
Nearly Perfect
4.5 stars It's a great outer shell. Solid all around from the zippers to the snaps. Has a nice, inner elastic skirt to help keep in the warmth. I also love the accent color of the zippers. Can't wait to wear it this fall/winter. The only teeny, tiny issue is at the wrists. They're pretty wide, and when I use the velcro to tighten the wrist, I end up with a decent size overlap/flap. Again, that's a super small complaint, and I still highly recommend this jacket.
Yes for this!
I needed to replace my Gortex shell & this one is better than my last with many well placed pockets, soft fabric at chin so no scratches & plenty of room throughout so layering is easy. I’m 5’4”, 125lbs and bought the M because I’m always cold and layers can include a fat puffer jacket. I’m outside working with horses for hours & really not moving much or making my own heat & in public so I have to try and stay clean & presentable. Jacket is well tailored and moves well when I need to move. Horse slobber wipes right off with damp cloth.
Great jacket for outdoor adventures
I would say the jacket was a roomy medium, which will be great for adding multiple layers on beneath it in cool weather. I love the detail: adjustable at the wrists to tighten and keep out cold, wind and water, elastic at waist; vents; lots of pockets, inside and out. The length is great to let water roll off, but not to long to restrict movement in any way. I wore it on walks in a couple pretty heavy downpours and stayed dry. It feels like it closes up good to keep rain out. I did not test in cold weather so cannot rate that quality.
Substantial sheel, good features
I’m not a skier but got this jacket as a waterproof shell to go over a warmer jacket. It is not a thin shell, it’s a substantial shell with great pockets and functional hood. I wore it on freezing temps in Utah and, with my layering system, I was feeling plenty warm and protected from the wind. This jacket is a solid addition to my outdoor gear.
Great purchase!
This is the perfect winter shell! I ordered a medium which is perfect for layering on those cold MN winter days (I could possibly have even gone a size down). REI thought of everything while creating this jacket - plenty of well-placed pockets, soft-lining at the top for when you're zipped up all the way, pit-zips, generous (yet well fitting) hood and drawstrings at the waist. The cut is surprisingly flattering and I love the color!
Attractive Raincoat
I was surprised how nice this appears when worn, more as a coat instead of a jacket in style. It has been worn during rain and has done well, is light in weight but seems to resist light wind fine. It can be spot cleaned easily with a damp cloth for a small soil area if not ready to machine wash. The color is a nice neutral tan so good for all clothes and seasons. Overall, a good buy.
Spacious and Comfortable
I'm really liking this jacket so far. The sizing is reasonable (this fit me great with room for some layers in there too, which I appreciate). The zippers under the armpits are really nice for some additional venting in case it gets a little too warm- it beads water pretty great- I wore it out in the rain and I was nice and dry! I did end up being a little warm on my excursions wearing this but I anticipate this will be a frequently used item when the weather gets chillier. The material is great and feels heavy duty. One thing that I found to be a bit bulky when using it is the thick Velcro on the cuffs. I have short arms, so I found them to be maybe a tad too big for my preferences but I'm guessing this could come in handy when I use this with fall/winter gloves or mittens. This was just a small annoyance, but overall it's still a great jacket!
Nice, but tight around the bust
I recently bought this coat and love both the color and the general fit, but you'd have to be flat-chested to wear anything other than a very thin t-shirt under it to have it fit right. The rest of the fit was just fine. Alternately, it would great to offer the coat in tall or plus sizes.
