KUHL  Interceptr Full-Zip Jacket - Men's

Purchased this on a cool winter evening. Didn't know what to expect, but the product is impressive. It is well-made, warm and stylish. Normally, I wear an Artyrx LEAF hoodie or GI fleece, but the Kuhl is much lower profile in a civilian setting and functions perfectly for its intended use. The chest pockets are perfectly sized for eyeglasses, the zip hand warmer pockets are well-placed, and the interior pockets provide a good place to secure a cell phone. The sleeves fit snugly, and the inside front panels in front keep the wind at bay. The thumb straps would be useful if wearing this bicycling. All-in-all, a good value for a well-designed product.

I’m a big fan of Kuhl clothing and bought this as an encore to a Kuhl Revel pullover, which is one of my favorite and most comfortable pieces of clothing. I really wanted to love this. It’s well made, stylish, and fits well. Unfortunately, Kuhl did not use flat stitching in the sleeves despite using it everywhere else in the garment. After a few hours, the double seams in the sleeves were driving me nuts. I know this is a small thing and may not bother other people, especially if you wear something under the sweater, but it was a dealbreaker for me given how I intended to use it. I’m going to wait and see if they change this in the new year model or just get an another Revel. 

This is so soft and comfortable. I've been a huge fan of Kuhl clothing for a long time and I have a lot. But this is my new favorite!

Not good fabric. I washed it alone, on a cold gentle cycle and hung dry. After 3 washes the fabric balled up so badly it looks terrible. There is so much shedding off of it, when you lint roller it to try and remove all the balls, the roller is covered with micro pieces of fabric. The sewing and styling is good, the fabric is very poor.

I’ve had this jacket for a few months now and it continues to be one of my favorite pieces. It holds its shape, resists pilling, and still looks sharp after repeated wear. The fleece provides solid warmth without feeling heavy, and the fit strikes a great balance between casual and technical. I’ve used it for everyday wear, light hikes, and road trips, it works for all of it. High-quality feel throughout. Definitely recommend it.

I chose this jacket largely because I like the fit of Kuhl XLs. In the case of other brands, a L is typically shorter than I would like, but an XL too roomy. I'm 6'2, and this jacket falls to the top of my thighs, mostly covering up the flannel shirts I like to layer with. The material is warm but not too heavy.

I bought the large and the fit is perfect. I like the deep pockets and the chest pockets. It is a surprisingly warm jacket and kept me comfortable in the 40 degree temps. It is not a windbreaker and I have noticed some air getting through on cold windy days. I’m 6’2” and sometimes take a tall size. The sleeves and waist are plenty long for me. I definitely can recommend this jacket. Kuhl has the best colors as far as I’m concerned.

The temp outside is 41 F, feels like 37 with 8-12 MPH wind and I’m comfortable. Breathable yet sheds wind fairly well, for what it is. Easier to get in and out of than a lot of the softshell-type jackets (which this is not). Comfortable indoors as well as out. And, like many Kuhl products, it’s stylish and compliments the physique (if you have a complimentary physique). Athletic fit, as with all their styles. I love this jacket.

The color caught my eye. The fit and pockets sealed the deal.
