Keeps my climbing bags cleaner
This is one of those things that makes so much sense that once I saw it, I wondered why I hadn't thought of it before. I hate getting chalk everywhere in my climbing bag. So, for years, I've kept my chalk bag in a gallon plastic bag. Of course, the seal on the bag broke a long time ago, and even when the seal worked I didn't take the time to close it, so it only kinda worked sometimes. The Sakover is so much better! The bag has been airtight for me and reduced the amount of chalk dust in my climbing bag. I just leave my chalk bag in there most of the time now unless the bag is on my harness. It's super small and lightweight, I don't really notice it. The roll-top closure provides a nice handle and actually makes it easier to carry my chalk bag around when I'm bouldering at the gym.

This lightweight yet sturdy bag works exactly as described - I don't have to worry about getting chalk spilled in my car, or all over my work clothes going to or from the gym. Its size allows me to put any typical climbing chalk bag into it, but even better, I've found I can use it as a storage bag while at the gym. It can hold my cell phone and car key if I roll it up and clip it to the back of my harness. Really handy and useful multipurpose design!
It contains the chalk
It’s essentially a dry bag meant to hold your climbing chalk bag. It does that well, any chalk spills are safely contained. However, if you already have a dry bag you’re not using, you could likely just use that instead.
Is airtight, does not come with inner bag like pic
The bag is airtight as advertised, pretty cool. I gave 3 stars out of 5 because it does not come with the inner bag as advertised in the pictures. There does not seem to be anything inside the bag like the 2nd picture shown. I bought this for my home gym to store chalk, not for rock climbing transport. I needed something that was durable and airtight so I didn't always have chalk flying all over my gym/home office area.

Keeps my chalk where it belongs, rather than all over the inside of my pack, which is especially great when I'm schlepping a laptop or camera around with it!
