Beautiful But Fragile

I love the pattern of this belt but it has a number of serious issues. The first of which is that it is quite small. It measures several inches shorter than advertised and was somewhat tight for me (men's size 34). Loose threads also began to develop over across the length of the belt and the tip began to split after around a week of moderate use. I wanted to love this belt but it was not up to the usual Patagonia standards.

Very small

I love Patagonia and this looks cool, but it not one size fits all. I would say if you wear size 28 and under it would fit.

Bit Short

As the title indicates, the belt was a bit small for some people (36 waist) and above might have issues.

Too STIFF

I've purchased REI friction belts before and loved them but the canvas of this belt is so stiff it's almost impossible to get the belt to pass through the buckle.

Pretty useless as a belt

I bought this liking the design and width, however, the belt is rather short, very stiff and only useful as a strap. Please be aware when you purchase.

Terrific belt, but a bit hard to buckle

I’ve been wearing these belts for many years since when they were first released and they have never let me down. They look terrific with jeans or slacks and are durable. However, this particular iteration is a bit difficult to thread the belt through the buckle opening, probably because the nylon is a bit thicker. I wish they were offered in short, medium and large lengths and more colors like navy blue.

Evening with Mountains Belt

This belt was a gift to my husband and when it arrived I thought it might be too stiff. However receiver of the belt is happy with the firmness of the belt and we are both pleased with the construction and design. It gets worn almost every day.

Surprisingly bad

I wore this belt only a few times over a couple of weeks. Over that short period of time, the end away from the buckle frayed and completely misshaped so that it was no longer wearable. Surprising to me that an item from Patagonia would be so poorly designed.

design flow

The material is solid but the edge of the belt is sharp and not safe. Sometime I walk around shirtless, it pokes/rubs on my skin. Please reimagine the edge and I will buy it again! Thank you

Belt Too Long

This belt has only one size...very large. If you have a smaller waist, you will need to cut the length to your size and then heat-seal the new end of the belt. Not easy to do. If not done correctly, the new end frays and you can't fit it through the narrow buckle opening.
