Shred apart paddle

I own six aqua bound paddles, five of them I give the five star rating. This one I give four stars. The reason is due to it’s weight. This paddle is advertised as a carbon but in reality it’s a carbon coated aluminum shaft . I’m so spoiled by all my other AquaBounds that when I Handel this one I really feel the difference. The blade design and size are really good and it moves a lot of water with ease . Being able to split this into two separate paddles for canoeing is a great idea . I bought this to use exclusively as a white water / river floating paddle and for that purpose it works perfectly for me. For most kayaking needs however I would recommend other AquaBound paddles.
