I really like this tool, but...

I've been carrying this tool for the past 18 months, and I love the design. As a multi-tool and paired with the matching chain/tire tool, it is nearly perfect and has never left me wanting. Perhaps my greatest complaint in the design department is that the rubber washers used to hold the bits in place can be difficult to keep track of when this tool is used on the trail. I've lost a few, but they can be easily replaced through a visit to the plumbing aisle at your local hardware store. Unfortunately, this tool does not hold up well to moisture (and I'm talking "damp", not "wet"). At 12 months, the rotating head nearly froze up on me. Though the bits remained usable, they had become moderately corroded. It took 10-15 minutes working the head loose with some break-free to loosen it enough to be serviceable again. I've taken reasonable care of the tool. It has been carried inside of my Revelate Tool Cache (specifically designed for carrying this product) inside a water-resistant tube top bag. I expected a higher quality tool at this price.

Light and nice to use.

I verified 51g, and has all the tips I need. The pivot tip has spring/ball detent that works great as a speed driver or is a great handle with plenty of leverage. Feels more like a shop tool in your hand compared to the bulky multi-tools. The bit storage has both magnets and the o-rings to keep them in. I had one fall out randomly while handling it indoor the first day so I've been extra careful when using it on the trail. The tips are 4mm hex bits not your typical 1/4" bits, you don't want to loose them. Loosing the tips is the potential biggest drawback to this tool. Overall it just feels great to use and its as light as can be. Have used it quite a bit since and have not had another bit fall out since I've been more carful. Haven't had a chance to try this with the wolftooth bar ends.
