Sheds plastic every time I unscrew the lid
I bought two of these bottles and immediately noticed a lot of plastic dust and shavings inside. I know you're supposed to wash these things before use, but this was more than I'd seen in any kind of bottle. I washed them both very thoroughly, but noticed more plastic dust the next time I went to refill. Sure enough I realized that every time I twisted the cap open or closed, it was shaving off plastic debris. In the photo you can see the dust inside the cap and on my finger. This was immediately after cleaning it and giving the cap 3 good twists.
Water Bottle Works Well
It’s a bicycle water bottle. It has no insulation, so it won’t keep your water chilled for long. It’s compactness is ideally suited for bicycles with small frames. The bottle doesn’t leak, so it does what it is intended to do.
lid is white not orange!
I ordered the "See You There/White" bottle. The stock image for the website had an orange lid but when the item arrived, the lid was white. This is not a dealbreaker but I liked how the color of the illustration popped with the orange accented lid. Also if you look closely in the image, I noticed that the seam of the bottle is running down the center of the image, which is also the where the image's was placed, so the ink there ended up having a hairline of clear/no ink running through it. Again not a huge deal but that's a bit of unfortunate placement.

Great Water Bottles for Every Day Commute or Tour
I have two of these bottles in the 22oz version. They fit perfectly in my bottle cages with just the right amount of friction. I like how I can use drink mixes in them and they do not retain a heavy residue. Any residue is easily washed out. They are also tough. I once missed my bottle cage and sent one skittering on the pavement. The bottle survived it just fine.
Top spout - not kid friendly
Great water bottle for adult use while exercising. Minimal leakage when laying on side. Shared it with a kid and after 2-months of purchase and using it 3x/week. He used it as his primary school/camp bottle from 9-3 and after 1.5 weeks of daily use the black nipple on spout was split in half. No longer could the knob be easily unlocked after pushing down. I thought it would be a successful bottle for an 8-year boy. Due to school requirements I wish the tops were sold separately so I don’t have to buy another water bottle and throw another one away. I would not recommend to anyone that bites right on the spout.

There's this detail which I noticed and has the seam of the bottle running down the center of the image, which is also the place where the image's ink was like skipped printing. So that's a bit of unfortunate thing.
Easy upgrade
No plastic taste, wide mouth for ice cubes, good flow. Best of all, the teal (aka "celeste") is a perfect match with my vintage Bianchi road bike.
New valve is terrible, rips off
We bought two of these (one short, one tall) and BOTH have had the upper part of the valve/nipple rip off within a few months of use. They also leak terribly, even when they appear to be closed. The old style was much better, but doesn't seem to be available anymore. Huge bummer. Don't buy.
Finally bottle without any smell.
High quality, soft plastic bottle with no smell at all. I am surprised by how much I like it.
