So far, so good.
A fairly comfortable shoe, though the sizing is a little off. I read the reviews of others who said they tend to run small, and they were right. I normally wear a 10.5 and I bought 11’s. They fit comfortably and seem well made. I’ll know more as I get to use them. I live in coastal Georgia, so I didn’t think I needed to much. If they only last a year, at $23 or something like that, I’d say I got my money’s worth. I would recommend and I would buy again.
picture needs to be updated
The color shoe I received was gray, not black (the picture on the website was of a black shoe). I suppose the color "charcoal" applies to both black and gray, but someone should update the listing. I thought black would be good because they'd dry faster, but I'm actually okay with getting gray instead because maybe my feet won't roast when it's sunny and hot out. The rubber outsole was cut a little bit rough/jagged but the gluing seems intact so we'll see how these puppies hold up (if they last me a while, I'd up the rating, but time will tell). They feel good to wear. I normally wear a size 9-9.5 in women's and ordered an 8.
Not great water shoes, but good outdoor shoes
These shoes don't do a great job draining water, so they aren't very good when it comes to being wet/water shoes. Water collects in the sole and has nowhere to go. As general purpose simple outdoor shoes, though, they're great. Simple slip-on style, fits snuggly around the ankle so things won't get in, and the solid bottom is anti-slip on most surfaces. They seem to run a little large, but not by much. There is plenty of toe space, though, which is great.
Great shoes for kayaking.
The NRS water shoe works great for kayaking. Very lightweight yet not tight or loose. I kayak for 1 to four hours a few times a week and as long as the temperature is 50 degrees and up, these are my choice in shoes.
Great wetshoes for beach days
Got these wetshoes for our Miami trip. They fit great, have a slip-on style, and fit snuggly while giving a lot of toe space.
Uncomfortable
These were a disappointment. First the fit is weird - the bottom soles don’t align with the foot, so it adds more stress to your feet. My feet and toes were seriously aching the next day. And they are too flat so hard to walk in on a regular surface. Secondly, they don’t drain water well and three days later are still damp. Maybe these were meant for a basic sandy beach, but for a rocky river walk, I don’t recommend.
cannot beat the price for the quality!!
Kept my feet warm and comfortable on the rocky shores of Washington!
Wetshoes could be better designed
There must be some logic to the design of these Wetshoes, but I slipped the first day I wore them because the bottoms are totally smooth. It seems that there must be another use for them rather than walking on wet surfaces which are, by nature, slippery. Really, after I slipped I thought to myself that a far better design would have been if the shoes had treads on them.
Very slippery
I bought these to use in the pool on a walking aqua track where you walk against the current. The shoes do not have enough traction to keep me moving forward without slipping. They are going back to the store today. The nice thing about them is that the inner sole is sewn in, so it will stay in place.
Ripped along the sole after several months use.
It ripped along the sole after only a few months use. Maybe 12-14 times. Material is definitely not very hardy.
