Easy to catch

When I was in Junior high, there was a basketball court with an 9-foot hoop at a nearby church. I used to love jumping the fence to play there with my friends because we could all do spinning fancy dunks and feel like Michael Jordan despite our mediocre athletic abilities. You sometimes see super fast and athletic dogs chasing down a Frisbee and making fantastic jumping catches. This Frisbee is light, the rim is deep so it floats slowly. It's like the 9-foot basketball hoop hat makes my dog look like a superstar.

My pups new favorite toy. Super light weight easy to throw. Took her a little bit to figure out how to pick it up but very entertaining.

Pup's favorite! Punctured in <2 weeks

Pup absolutely loves this frisbee. It flies well, is easier on her mouth than other frisbees, and overall a great option as frisbees go. Unfortunately, it took less than two weeks for her adult teeth to puncture it during play. We can still kind of play with it and are purchasing another, but I was hoping this would be a little more durable. She's a lab/heeler mix, moderate chewer for reference.

REI excellent/RUFFWEAR not so much

While disc is incredibly gentle on dogs teeth, there was a hole in the disc from dog retrieving within the first hour of use. Called Ruffwear and submitted pics - instead of replacing, they offered a $10 coupon. Total disappointment in customer service (Ruffwear). Not worth the money

Great, but not indestructible

I have a super chewer and really hoped this would last. Sadly on the first day she chewed up part of it. Still beats a plastic frisbee which cute up her mouth. Great if you don’t have a super chewer.

Unintended use case

Okay, so I don't have a dog, but hear me out. I found this because I was looking for something packable, durable, and light that we could throw dice and cards in as well as throw around while backpacking. There were really no good such items in the whole camping department. I saw this thing randomly by the checkout and... it's really nice to have around on the trail! I wouldn't use it to eat out of but for organizing the camp kitchen or providing a temporary clean-ish non-stump surface to put a mug or some ingredients on, it's great. I will say that it deformed fairly easily from being packed (gently) in my bag. I was able to reshape it but I'm afraid it could lose its flying qualities fairly easily if you squished it too much.

Woody approves

Durable and passes the sniff test. Easy to clean. Only bummer is the frizz doesn’t float.

Sinks!

This frisbee is awesome. My dog loved it. Could play tug with my 65 lb golden retriever no issue. He could catch it and pick it up no problem. All of this in the past tense because we took it to a stream to play some fetch in the water and lo and behold - it sinks! One throw and poof, gone. I bought this in store so did not have the benefit of reading the question on the REI site asking if it floats. Sure does not. $20 down the drain...or the stream, as it were.

Great dog toy

A great little frisbee! I really like that it doesn't have an edge so it's easier for my dog to let go. We have a corgi and it's a good height for our short little guy.

Best frisbee!

Best frisbee! Our pup loves this frisbee and it flies so well. However, it does NOT float.
