Hydro Flask  Wide-Mouth Vacuum Water Bottle with Flex Cap - 40 fl. oz.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this Hydro Flask wide mouth in the eggplant color and my daughter absolutely loves it! She bought her own stickers for it even before it came in the mail and put stickers all over it as soon as it arrived. It does look really cool. The hydro flask is super cool. It’s a good size, color and keeps ice water cold for along time. This has been perfect for my daughter for school with COVID going on since they recommend they bring their own water bottles to school. We also got the stainless steel wide mouth cap that looks really great too and plan on getting the lid that comes with the straw. The sticker decoration does not come with the hydro flask we purchased them and put them on ourselves.

For the price I assumed it would be great quality. I have about 5 days with my Hydro Flask and I dropped it from 1-2 feet and it dented. It landed bottom first then it tipped over, so now it has 3 dents from that one fall. I’ve had a TAL water bottle and I’ve dropped it so many times in the span of 3 years and it wouldn’t dent. The only reason I bought a hydro was because I liked that it had a straw mouth piece which was a more convenient access to drinking water. With the TAL I had to unscrew the mouth piece to drink water and screw it back to close it. I’m just disappointed, I had high hopes for the hydro flask:

My previous Hydroflask finally broke after having it 3 years after accidentally dropping it or banging it. Meaning the cooling technology was no good anymore & it sweated. Surprised it lasted as long as it did after all the falls. I put it on my Xmas wish list, but I couldn’t handle being without my Hydroflask until then so just decided to buy one, and thankfully it was on sale & had free shipping! After I tried a new color & got a new sleeve I felt so much better. Sort of like a cell phone. It’s my constant and hydration security. :) Mahalo for such an awesome product! Don’t ever stop making them.

I carry my ice water in it and it keeps the water so cold all day. I’ve also used it for coffee. It has an additional stainless steel lid that helps keep my coffee hot. I love that the flask is dishwasher safe. It’s made out of Pro-grade stainless steel and is BPA and toxin free. It has a double wall vacuum insulation that keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for hours. It’s wide mouth construction allows for easy filling. I am very happy with this Hydro Flask and I do recommend it!

Love the bottle keeps my drinks at the right temperature all the time. I gave it 4 stars though cause it fell and dented really easily and the paint is a little scratched from the fall other wise awesome bottle.

I love giving them as a gift. I had mauve since 2014. As a nurse, I need to drink lots of water and it stays cold . I could use a new one for work.

Holds cold water but dents easily and doesn’t come with a straw so it’s not really convenient.

Hydro flask has a pretty big reputation where I’m from and is seen as a expensive or boujie brand. it met all my high expectations from keeping water cold days after filling and even retaining waters temperature in a hot car sitting in the sun. I will say it’s pricey but all well worth it! Can dent slightly easier than some but that’s the sacrifice for cold(or hot) liquids keeping their temp. Hydro flask has done a wonderful job with this. I love my 40 ounce bottle!! The lids all look and fit wonderfully. I definitely recommend this product

i love my hydro flask. the only problem is i drop it a lot and it got a big dent in it. i filled it up with water one day and accidently left it outside on a really cold night. the dent was gone in the morning! so if your dents are annoying u like they do to me, just fill it up with water and throw it in the freezer and the dent will be gone soon. this works because water expands when solidifying so it will push they dent out again to its normal shape. hope this helps! also great for a super tomboy like me who loves all sports and needs to stay hydrated all the time in the cali heat. perfect for soccer
