Just got these as my first proper rack from .4 to 4 (replacing my gifted franken-rack). Absolutely love them!!! The extendable slings aren't always necessary, but they are super nice in a pinch when you have limited options for extending or only need to extend by a little bit. My buddy with his c4s constantly rags on me for having the "inferior cams," but I'm just happy to almost never be in a position where I'll get my cams confused with another person since Friends are so uncommon where I'm at, haha. Great trigger, smooth action, and the teeth really give you confidence that they'll bite if you take a nice whip on the sharp end. The two downsides: 1. the Dyneema has gotten caught rather easily on some of my wires and started some small frays. 2. they come lubed up and collect dirt much faster than any other cam I've seen. Definitely will need to clean them much sooner than theaverage cam.

Pros: Cheaper and lighter than C4s. Great all around cam, wide lobes are very confidence inspiring on sandstone. Light weight and great price point. Cons: head widths are quite wide, especially in the smaller sizes. The .4 has a noticeably wider head than C4s X4s and totems. Good for parallel cracks but not optimal for funky flared granite. The camming angle seems to give these cams somewhat less range than C4s, I notice this particularly with #2 and #3, and those sizes seem to be slightly larger than the BD equivalent. Extendable sling is a nice option but is very fumbly to extend and clip, and to re-rack. Lower Kn rating due to the extendable slings. Overall I love these cams, and it’s hard to see why you’d buy a set of C4s when these are cheaper and lighter. IMO they excel on sandstone cracks and are perfect for Indian creek because of their slight size difference from BD in the hand sizes, wide lobes and grippy teeth, and more powerful camming angle. Highly recommend!

So far I like them and I do like that they are not the same size as the Camalot or Dragon. They make a good in between piece however I will never use them as my go to. I do like the extendible sling but it is not as effective as the dragon because of the thumb loop.

Great product, light and match up perfect with the associated BD cams. I am however not the biggest fan of the extendable sling, it is not user friendly, difficulty to extend and can be difficult to clip a draw into both strands in a tight spot.

Great cams! Good first set or for expanding the in between sizes of various brands. Extendable slings lighten the rack and allow more placements with less gear. Solid product, great company.

You cannot beat the quality for the value that you get with these cams. Don’t overthink it, if placed properly these cams are bombproof.

Lighter than the others, with more features than all of them, they hold up and place like a dream, I regret only getting a double rack.

For the price, best cams out there. Lighter than the C4s, plus they have an extendable sling. Workmanship and action is excellent.

Love my friends. Always appreciate the extension. Still love my BD cams as well, but overall very satisfied with these cams.
